When do Sony make a BIG prior announcement, sending press releases to gaming sites... about a firmware update...if so, it'd have to be the GREATEST firmware update of all time...
like the inclusion of BC on all consoles via firmware.
That price cut of PS3 or announcement sounds more on an E3 kind of announcement, but after MArch 31st when their fiscal year ends also makes sense.
It's not gonna be that big, my bet is the PS2 new price point of $99 dollars.
Don't get me wrong, I think sony will announce few things we haven't heard yet, but it just may not be their extreme focus for the coming year. I think you'll see them focus alot more on PSP this year, we've already heard about Motorstorm and LBP for PSP, not to mention Assassins Creed for PSP. Maybe a GTA Game for it? Amongst others.
I think another definite announcement at E3 will be Killzone 2 DLC. Considering the game came out just at the end of feb. It's about 3-4 months ...
I got a feeling this year E3, Sony is gonna be like last year MSoft E3, where the focus on the games they have announced and games coming out this fall and Fiscal Year. So basically (God of War3, Uncharted 2, Infamous is out before E3 or just after?, Sigma 2, and all the 3rd party hotness) with maybe 1 surprise or two. Which is very similar to MS E3 press conf.
And MS will be like Sony press conf last year, announcing alot of games, that we'll see coming this year and fiscal yea...

Is it me, or the mountain in picture lack details for 360, and PS3 has far more stuff, and detail in it? Or it just has popped in for 360.

I'm not saying it under-rated, just under-appreciated by the masses. Like you and I know about the game, but take a typical gamer from the PS2 generation, and i bet half don't even know what this game is, and that's a shame.
I agree, I loved the music in LBP, I wish they had a collector edition with a mini sack boy, and CD of the game music in it.
One of the best games on the system, shame it's appreciated by only the "hardcore" fans.

No doubt, but one costs them money in trying to get PS2 emulation to work, and the other making sneakers for sneaker collectors to buy, makes them money or goes to charity.
Why do I got a feeling it's not a PS3 exclusive, but rather a PSP exclusive, sony has been really pushing the PSP this year, with it's announcements, plus the rumors of other PSP games possibly (Another GTA stories, the Rockstar/Timbaland beat game, etc.)
