It's also different time frames though, no doubt WKC did amazing, but that was launched during the holiday shopping period in japan... Star Ocean 4 was launched a few day ago. Maybe SO 4 does better if it launched in Dec.
No doubt impressive, and yes Micrsoft when talking about x-box live accounts includes both silver and gold memberships, so it is indeed very nice.
Pretty good boost for 360....Rougly 25 000 360 sold according to the data, which will likely pass PS3 this week and Wii.
PS3 should do the same next week with Yakuza 3.
It'll likely at some point come out on PS3, probably a timed exclusive for 360.
That's nice, a year ago they were selling in 2000-3000 range. They've easily doubled or tripled it.
Although it is the cheapest Console (including wii) in Japan.
I agree as well, sounds great, but i don't think all that will happen in 2.7, but one can hope right?
It's coming out for both systems...
I'm surprised almost 30 K on 360, and PS3 has 3x the userbase than 360, only sold roughly 60 k.
That's only 2 to 1...However I expect as the weeks go, you'll see the userbase advantage go close to to 3 to 1 ratio.
Now that's a trailer, hated the 10 second spike game show trailer...
Last year PS3 was outselling 360 at the price point of 299 vs. 399....
Not by much, but it was still doing so, without GTA IV, without any of big hitter per say, and this was after Halo 3 was released.
This year 360 is beating PS3 by a far margin, or big margin, at 399 vs. 199.
If Somehow PS3 was beating 360 at $399 vs. $199, that would likely spell doom for 360, because if you can beat a system 200 dollars more expensive, while boasting just as many gam...

That just crazy, since Sept, so in 3-4 months it sold nearly 6million, now mind you it's on every system imaginable, but regardless, i'm sure a few games wouldn't mind sell that much.
GoW movie script is my guess.
It's probably a branching story to God of War, since GoW is a triology meant to end, there is probably something following a similar time line or something.
He says something familar with, so it's definitely not a new IP.
But as well, he says he's writing a script, doesn't neccessarily mean game script, maybe he's helping writing the god of war movie script?
Wow alot of DLC being delayed, first GTA DLC was delayed, then Fallout 3 DLC is delayed, now this...
Edge marks in generally rediculously hard scale, so it comes at no surprises.
Just like any publications/mags they have inconsistencies, no mag/site is consistent...
If 7 is the lowest killzone is gonna get, then i'd say they've done a good job (Especially considering it's only 1...so far).
Doubt it Deep,
Your reading too much into what he's saying, if they were cut it that early, they'd have done it prior to the lanuch of Killzone 2 (What's the next Big PS3 that has that kind of hype coming out in the April - July range?)
If your correct, it'd made sense for them to do it in march, and release Killzone 2 in march, followed by RE 5, SF IV....to push hardware.
I think a cut will happen, except I think it'll be closer to Oct/Nov range.
...
A year ago, it would have been a miracle to say that, even with PS2 sales decling, 360 sales were in the 2000's now it's in the 6-7 range.
But wow I though Ninja Blade would do better, under 10 K sold in it's first week, mind you it data is only for a few days...but still...360 have 800 000 K + system in japan, and under 10 k represents it sold to roughly 1.25% of it's owners.
I didn't think the 1.1 million is Local Europe number, considering previous to that they were taking about global sales of the console and global software sales of all the Sony products.
1.1 million in just Europe would be huge, especially considering the past of killzone.
1.1 globally aka (US/Europe/Australia), makes sense, with 500 K split between two or so, plus loose 100 K in other territories (Australia, etc.)
So was MGS 4, so was GTA IV for both systems in Europe.
