Yep,
if you want slightly lower resolution there's always the Xbox 720p(ornhub). No one wants to see blurry, digitized dongs.
You forgot to put "article" and "journalist" in quotation marks.
Nintendo games don't do this.
I'm not trying to start something... it's just, I've seen this excuse a lot but none of Nintendo games (or any of the PS4s, as far as I can tell) have had to downgrade following bullshots and promo trailers.
No one is saying that those cases are any less important.
Anytime news of Foxconn is brought is up in a negative light (no matter who they're associated with) deserves to have the spotlight shined on the situation.
There were several reports of rape.
That goes on where you work?
The students work two 12 hour shifts with two hour breaks.
The young girls became so stressed working the assembly line that it caused them to have pre-menstral bleeding WHILE WORKING THE LINE.
Students studying finance and accounting were also forced to work the assembly line.
The money these interns should have made goes towards the schools ...
This is important news as far as Foxconn goes. And yes, it is a fiasco. Students engaged in slave-labor conditions so people can have a high-end game console?
It's amazing how far people would rather bury some news over brand loyalty.
I got you, bro.
I understand your man pain. lol
And it's also true that you can't base anything on ONE early review that breaks embargo. Any review that breaks embargo is usually a high-praise article and I always take those with a grain of salt.
What if you're dialing Gamestop to pick up your PS4 pre-order?
lol, but it'll never be over.
What about for people who don't care about ALL of the Xbox One's launch games?
What about people who were only eying Ryse but wanted to wait for the reviews before making the plunge? Now, for day-one, they may have to go with something else to buy with their Xbox One.
Early reviews helps people make better decisions.
I thought Jim did a great job of analyzing both sides of it, and I do agree that game reviewers/journalists shouldn't have to spend too much out of their own pocket. Not all of them are Angry Joe and can afford to do such things.
Technically it's not all the same issues.
We don't know how many BLoDs are out there. What if it's only a few hundred?
We don't know how many RLoDs are out there. What if its not even a hundred?
If what the kid says is true and the inspectors/management also got tired and slacked off, then it could help explain why so many faulty units got through. But he also says when Foxconn noticed this they ship out the old workers and...
@harrisk954
I just don't see how the video takes it too far? The guy is literally just walking people through taking apart the PS4 and notes the thermal paste is already dried.
lol... am I missing something?
You know, I really would have preferred a 16-bit version. That would have been awesome.
I'm guessing you didn't read the article.
dude calm down. The video doesn't take it too far, it's just a cleaning video that notes the thermal paste is already dried out before he even used the system.
it doesn't mean the PS4 is terrible or anything, it just means that there might be traceable reasons behind some of the faulty units.
I like having all the information available and accessible if I want it, but I don't mind NOT looking up a game in order to be surprised at some point.
I think, once again, this was an amazing blog entry DragonKnight.
"They just don't know better, until they experience the better!"
Well let me know when "better" gets here.
Off topic: FPSRussia submitted this story? LOL nice.
OT: If a game is announced as a set resolution it's next to nigh impossible that it's going to go any higher unless they do what they did with Ryse and start dropping polycounts, shaders and shadows.
Why don't you post the uncompressed shots to Imgur and then link them in your post? No one is stopping you from doing that.
