The problem is that for people who don't follow "ps3 is doomed" articles it just looks like another article pointing out something they may not have known: Nintendo ads rank higher among viewers/readers.
I notice on N4G a lot of information news (for ps3/xbox) is often seen as "bashing" news. Seems like Wii owners just don't care either way.

Sony's first year of advertising was complete BS. Rolling eggs, crying babies and masturbating soccer fans just didn't cut it for me.
Nintendo has been very consistent out of the big three and it's easy to see why survey results turned out that way.
good point. Everytime I come to N4G there's at least one "PS3 is doomed" and one "Xbox 360 RRoD" story crowding the front page. Always!
I don't get how it's biased when it's okay for one side to do it and not the other.
The PS3 sales are down 24% from last year and I'm sure there's some perfectly reasonable explanation from fanboys as to why that is.
Anyone says anything bad about the console of their choice and all of a sudden it's biased and lies. Pretty soon they'll be saying that the NPD numbers are fixed or something.

If the game was given a 3 out of 10 then I'd say yeah, it was a plea for attention. But 7 out of 10? Why are reviewers being bashed over that? Didn't some reviewers give Assassin Creed a 7 out of 10?

Fanboys run N4G and fanboys are as bad as fundamentalist. It's as simple as that.
I know Gamespot and Kotaku and IGN and a bunch of other bigger sites get paid to say good things about crappy games, but fanboys are just as bad for fixing metacritic scores and jacking up prices on ebay items for opposing sides.
