I'm a long-standing proponent of the PS3, but did anyone even check the second screenshot? So many more realistic shadows on the 360 version...
This is a good example of an engine not designed specifically with the PS3's hardware in mind.

About the "crispyness" of the 360 version, I agree completely; just look at the badge on his shoulder, it's crystal clear on the 360 version. But the blur does make the gun appear to be more "polygoned-up" because it blurs out the angular parts in the PS3 version.
Agreed, CoD 4 (as I think CoD 5 is both technically and gamplay-wise inferior to its predecessor despite having been developed using the same engine) is a quick, twitch shooter that plays easily enough without consideration for more advanced tactics.
Killzone 2 is bigger, more strategic and an overall more developed shooter.
It depends on what mood you're in, all I know is there's room for both KZ2 and CoD4:MW2 in my heart and in my PS3 come November.

I all I know is, my PS3 won't play Xbox 360 games so it doesn't really make any difference to me what game looks better, cuz I'm only getting one version and it's coming on a BRD.

I don't know what it is, but the front parts of the gun in the PS3 version seem less "angular" as though they were composed of more polygons or something, it's probably just the blurring though:
