Whoa, I couldn't comprehend that last comment... seriously, not trying to be condescending.
And dang, they gave Left 4 Dead a 7 in graphics and KZ2 not even 2 points higher...
You're right and like anything else it can be judged against facts and for consistency; consistency: does this person consistently review games based upon, let's say, "expectation."
So there are cases when people's opinions can be bullsh(i)t
I think the Halo FPSs are mediocre at best, but even I would have given this game an eight without playing the demo... guess I just like the graphics..
Dassa lotta bits...
If it does drop, it must be for a fraction of a second because I already watched the whole game on that site that released a complete walkthrough and there was nothing noticeable at all as far as framerate drops go.
Hell, if you count those little hiccups during loading then I could see a drop where the screen practically freezes for about a third of a second, but that can't be what they are referring to.
1) don't reviewers proofread anymore? Spelling and grammatical errors in a review are simply embarrassing.
2) all this game needs is a Killcam (obligatory joke completed)
3) all it really needs is the ability to take screen shots and save to the XMB, God I would love that; custom sound tracks from XMB would be nice too. Listen to some Enya or something...
What are you, some kind of "Yaysayer?"
I... HATE YAYSAYERS!!!
:)
Proof reading anybody? This article needs it, jeez.
They could have made an entire new IP with that fifty million, hell KZ2 only cost 40 million to make; Microsoft could have made another big selling series, but decided to throw it away on DLC.
Fan service or madness?
Spending 3 billion on extended warranties is pretty much paying for the millions of broken consoles and their owners (remember, most owners experience more than one broken console so the 60 percent failure rate wouldn't mean approximately 15 million people had broken consoles, only that 15 million consoles broke and of course this is only a percentage and not an actual number).
So Capcom gimped the PS3 version? Yeah, won't be touching this... won't spend a dime on gimped games anymore.
Killzone 2's in-game graphics are better than Halo Wars' CGI...
Upcoming games are already having to be scaled-back to work on the 360! That new game by id "Rage" is probably going to have poorer textures than its PS3 counterpart because of the 360's hardware limitations
For the unabridged version, bereft of fanboyst "exclusion," see below:\

Most sounds too good to be true:
but faster XMB load times would be especially great and I think simply cutting out in stead of graying-out unusable options would be more helpful in this regard as well as the issue of confusion, but whatever.
Here's hoping...
Ignorant?
So no 360 owners feel they deserve a little more compensation besides a warranty (which should haven't been necessary in the first place) even in light of the fact that Microsoft was indeed aware of the problem and the potential for failure?
Then I withdraw my sympathy, Xbots truly are blind, so much so that they actually seem HAPPY when they get RRoD, almost as if it's a prize or something...
What's with the camera angle in that first pic? Her feet seem all freaky and long...
This isn't a joke; all those people who had to buy a new console cuz of RRoD, say you bought eight 360s, would have got as many free copies of Halo Wars... they she be reimbursed beyond the warranty I think.
“Only for multiplayer via the XMB. In Single player the music is designed to match the action so it would be hard for us to mix up your favourite boyband.”
Dang, I wanted to play "Back Street is Back" by the Back Street Boys in the beginning space sequence when the ISA is invading Helghan, you know, kind of like "we're back," sort of thing.
END SARCASM
Backstreet Boys = gay, my sexuality is now secure
Yes, it is the next Dreamcast... now excuse me while I stop by the bank to get my cash for Killzone 2 this Friday; if you want to reach me I'll be busy playing my dying console.
