Sounds like standard BS to me... but we'll see.
It's difficult to imagine a developer making a multiplat title with the strengths of each platform in mind, beyond the insignificant ones like trophies or achievements for god's sake.
We saw what kind of lighting KZ2 had, so we know what's possible; if the 360 version has a superior lighting system than PS3's, or the PS3's isn't leagues ahead then this article is true, but still BS. This is a generalization, but we all ...
These kids don't realize that "professional" doctors during the 60s and 70s used to actually promote cigarettes for the companies that funded their research... "the brand of cigarette 9 out of 10 doctors use."
Uncharted was not 4 (2) years, Rachet and Clank was not 4 (1-2) years, Resistance was not 4 (1-2) years.
I'm not the one who disagreed with you, but the part of your comment where you explain why you believe this was left out why?
I think birds can fly not because of their wings, but because they are filled with hot bird-farts that make them float...
See, my explanation allows people to tell me why I'm right or wrong, but yours does not afford anyone the opportunity to praise or pummel you.
Or...
Wii, cheapest = 1st place
360, second cheapest = 2nd place
PS3, expensive as fuq but worth it = 3rd place
There's so much bull here I won't even try to cover it all:
"Both environments are equally grim and bland."
Just by looking at the tiny screenhot for this N4G page you can see that this comment is BS.
I had NO problems with cover or movement in the first Uncharted so I doubt they've broken that mechanic even a little transitioning to their next title.
As for "standard" game modes and weapons, standard seems to be confused...
To me, the only way that parts buying (with ACTUAL money) would work is if parts are like a penny a piece or something.
Was this an English language site, or was I reading a Google translation just now?
The best part about it is disagreeing with people and not having to leave a comment, even if the comment is only gibberish, where at least you could harass whoever left a disagree without explanation!
I can never get any studying done while I'm playing video games, wait, what was this article about again? <goes back to playing Killzone 2>
I can't see this product costing anything less than 89.95-99.95... I just can't and I certainly wouldn't pay it unless it comes packaged with a few games and maybe that Milo/Kate interface game thing for free (of course I won't buy it at all because I don't have a 360, but that's beside the point).
You telling me you didn't catch the sarcasm in that comment... come on. This guy was so open about his likes and dislikes, i.e. he's comfortable in his new found "freedom," enough so to poke at Microsoft a bit ;)
That's the way I took it anyway... it was SUCH a PR type answer that it HAD to be a front, a joke.
It's not like Kojima or anyone would even need to really personally make this patch jeez, they could just shoot the list over to Koji for approval and add the dang thang...
Kind of a slap in the face of that Microsoft PR guy who was saying they're finally proud to have "Kojima San" on board... hahhahahhahha!!
Know what I just realized... I don't care about any other game anymore, not after seeing The Last Guardian trailer..
It was beautiful... and all in game graphics..
I think Natal would work better as an "enhancement" to gaming more than anything else, sort of the way the Wii Motion Plus thing makes the Wii Mote more sensitive.
It would be cool to be able to give some voice commands in certain games or just on the Dashboard, or an XMB for that matter. Add some motion reading capabilities, but not ENTIRE games!!! I don't know why they simply have to push it like this...
You could have a simple option to choose an interac...
I'm not going to give you a disagree, but the only place I think Natal seemed natural was with the interaction in "Milo's" world, moving one's hands through the water, et cetera... any place that you would actually touch or move something with your body, but steering a car or firing an invisible gun seems so awkward to me.
"I don't even know what Sony even shown to grant them a win."
"A motion controller that is weak compared to Natal."
In what way was it "weak?" A LIVE demonstration which displayed FAR more precision controlling than Natal's pre-produced commercail...
"And video clips of there top exclusives?"
"They boasted about Home and numbers but showed nothing new PsN related other than FF7 being downloadable....
I disagree with everyone on this being the future, i.e. controllers won't exist, but you're onto something with the "mocap" thing... (I simply think that it is foolish to suggest that every time a new means of interaction comes along it has to wipe out the old ones)
Imagine getting to program the animations into a game's characters!!!
The Natal thing watches your motions, records them and then applies them to your in-game character and when you switch back to ...
Duh!!! All Crysis had going for it was graphics and that's if YOU, the owner, had a PC to run it. :)
