Graphics downgrade!

jk

I'm glad they delayed the release. The improvements are dramatic.

Its not only that, its just loot shooters tend to get boring fast regardless of being online/offline. The initial rush of unlocking new gear and weapons is addicting but it starts tapering off into boredom. I used to play Borderlands offline co-op and I know the same thing happened around lvl 30 where I simply stopped playing it and went elsewhere.

The game is a true tactical shooter. Some will say its not as good as Rainbow Six Vegas but people used to say Vegas wasn't as good as the older Rainbow Six games. You definitely have to camp and have a slower approach. You can't run 'n gun. Also co-op terrorist hunt is a lot of fun.

EDIT: @jmanzare

It's different than the older Rainbow Six games like the ones on the original Xbox and PC but you'll still like it. Its fun.

Its a 7/10 imo. Its solid but not perfect and probably has more bugs and game breaking mechanics that holds it back. I still look forward to the new Ghost Recon Wildlands and I'm sure there is going to be a Division 2 seeing that Watchdogs 2 has been announced.

Destiny is actually fun. Grinding can get a little old sometimes but Bungie are actually competent developers compared to many of the teams of Ubisoft.

The Division's PVP is purely meant for trolling. It was managed terribly. People would play this game called "flash" where everyone would shout "flash" and anyone who asked what it meant would get team killed and go rogue. Its kind of funny with the glitching and stuff but it couldn't be taken seriously as a game mode.

Its like Borderlands. It starts to get boring after a certain level. Everything in the Division is too samey.

The only reason there was so much hate for MGS5 was because of the story. The engine and gameplay is damn near perfect. The storyline has been shoehorned with so many plot devices that it made the series overly convoluted.

Kojima used to say how he wanted to stop making Metal Gear games years ago but the demand was so high that he was pressured and coerced into doing so. The confusing storyline isn't all of Kojima's fault, you can partially thank the "fans&q...

With optional first person zoom/ADS

True but Kojima is established as a legend in the gaming community. I'm sure whatever team he gets put on will be talented and funded enough to make a good game.

I actually have to agree with this. As much as I like the Uncharted games for its cinematics and action sequences I must admit that I only play their campaigns once or twice before I move on to another game.

The competitive mode was never that good with bad hit detection and lack of weapons. It seems to be the same weapons through out the series like the Ak47 or GFAL with no customization.

There is much potential with multiplayer and the co-op is a lot ...

It can go in one of two directions: one being an MMO shooter like The Division or Destiny or the other being more of a linear experience with light RPG mechanics and customization with different game modes.

I trust Kojima and his sense but I don't know if I'd want a MMO third person shooter. Maybe have a traditional campaign, co-op, and competitive modes with plenty of customization.

Then again the trend lately seems to be heading towards more...

I'm looking forward to this game the most. The engine in MGS5 was amazing and I bet this new game will be a third person cyberpunk shooter.

I hope they get the multiplayer right as MGO still needs work. I think I also read that a new Syphon Filter was being made but then the page was suddenly taken down. I could be wrong.

There will probably be a trailer reveal at E3.

@captain and master
Could just as easily be DLC if you ask me. I'd say that both COD and Battlefield developers could release Vietnam/Cold War/WW2 etc DLC packs. Hackers in the modding community do it all the time. Reskinning an engine isn't that difficult.

Some of those changes lead to bad ideas. The recent Metroid games have been garbage compared to the handheld sidescrollers and Metroid Prime games (although the third Metroid Prime was terrible.)

Mario I suppose is here to stay. He's the mascot of all platformers and they can be fun to play every once and a while.

Zelda, as cool as the series has been, is really no different than other hack n' slash/RPG exploration games that are out there....

Most of the Nintendo franchizes have been milked beyond recognition. Uncharted 4 is suppose to be ND's last Uncharted game. They know that all good things must come to an end and its better to invest in new IPs and new ideas than riding a one trick pony.

I think the engine is going to set up for Battlefield 5. They will go back to a modern day military setting but with this new engine which is when the hype really kicks in. As cool as WW1 sounds, I think we can all agree the weapons are going to be too dated to be as enjoyable as a modern day setting.

From what I heard Uncharted 4 is an excellent swan song. Good job ND. Can't wait for your future releases. They set the standard that other developers need to follow.
