No video game movie will ever be as important as Adam Sandler's latest masterpiece, Pixels.
...still better than Sonic Unleashed.
What? No. Of course not. What kind of dumbass question is that? A remake isn't going to change anything.
Genre diversity is the right kind of diversity to be focusing on.
Did people just not experiment with pressing the buttons on the controller? Because that's one of the first things I did after getting the hang of the game, especially after seeing that there wasn't any controller layout in the options menu, and I figured it out pretty quickly.
It's kinda funny that people who were interested in a game that's advertised on the fact that it doesn't "hold your hand" are complaining about not having a tutorial or bu...
It's like that with every minority group these days. It's incredibly annoying.
Ugh, so the entire set up for the game is Noctis being engaged to a girl? I thought this was supposed to be about a bunch of guy friends traveling together and male bonding and all that stuff, which I was hoping would mean there wouldn't be any forced, unskippable heterosexual romance plot line. Significantly less interested in this game now.
Like I said, hype. I usually love WRPGs and everyone made a big deal about the choice and the story and how many things there were to do in the game; plus the collector's edition was beautiful and I'm a huge sucker for CE's with a lot of nice looking physical rewards. I got sucked in and overlooked how much I hate Geralt as a character.
Since everyone else is just posting games they didn't like but got suckered into buying because of hype (as opposed to saying which objectively bad games--Duke Nukem Forever, Grind, etc--they bought) I'll just do the same.
Witcher 3: It's even worse, because I hated the other two Witcher games, so this is really the second time I let hype influence me into buying this series. And even worse than that? I bought the collector's edition :/
Tales ...
I refuse to click on a Kotaku article, but Witcher 3 can be incredibly overwhelming, especially when you only wanna sit down and play for a few hours. I pretty much gave up a few days after getting it because it was just a constant barrage of things on my map and I felt like I had to do them all. It didn't help that the story and characters never really grabbed my interest either.
I've always kinda hated cell shading, but this looks particularly terrible. Those models look like a slightly more detailed version of something you'd see in one of those old X-Men Dimensions type games.
So it's basically pushing political views while pretending it's a game. Definite skip, then.
Because first party titles are always exclusive and one of the ways to determine how good a system is is by how many games you can only play on it.
@WellyUK
Again, *that's* an MGS trailer.
Absolutely not. Call me selfish, but whatever horrible shit Konami is doing to its employees and Kojima really doesn't impact me in any meaningful way. I've wanted to play MGSV ever since it was teased as Project Ogre 5 or so years ago, and I'm not gonna not buy it in some futile effort to "hurt" Konami by not contributing to a revenue stream they can totally do without anyway. I'll play MGSV. I'll enjoy it. And then I'll probably never care about another Kon...
Why not just add "and we'll find out what these nude models think of it after the jump" if you're not even gonna hide the clickbait?
"We want good online!"
N: "Online isn't what we're focusing on right now."
"We want a console with powerful hardware on par with other next gen consoles that doesn't rely on a gimmick controller."
N: "We are pleased to announce the Wii U."
"We want another Metroid game."
N: "Here's a co-op sci-fi shooter set in the Metroid universe. Oh, an...
Very good article. I do the exact same thing with strategy games, invent my own story based on the events happening and make up characters and motivations and successes and failures. In CK2 I sometimes console kill my character because I want the kingdom to be split into civil war between the two sons who keep attempting to assassinate each other in the background. I never really gave Darkest Dungeon much thought, because I'd always heard it described as a "hardcore dungeon crawler&q...
Oh no, not ADS!!! *cue dramatic music*
Pretty much. From the start it was pretentious and preachy and I'm not surprised it tanked.
