The choice of not having Xbox live working with other devices was aDon Matrick issue

None of those were from the Mattrick era... they were in place befor he came on board

Microsoft could sell those digital rights to 3rd party vendors... both online and retail... so you sell it for 6 bucks... MS sells it to Amazon for 15 and Amazon sells it for 25

Nuts and Bolts was a great game... just not what people were hoping for
Nintendo didn't want Rare... Microsoft overpaid for the company thinking that the developers would be worth it then everyone worth a damn jumped ship... and Nuts and Bolts was one of the better unique games of last gen
you're suggesting that Sony would have been able to hold on to the developers who bolted as soon as they were purchased?
most of the developers will get the option to move to other development teams at Microsoft... this is mostly just a PR stunt since most big teams will actively recruit studios that get shut down

this corrects some of the issue it has on the Windows Store... but it'll benefit everyone
what it needs is serious improvements in CPU watt reduction to make it viable for gaming, but as it is now it's a fine tool for science and health industry
it's a stand alone computer so I'm not sure how it would be made to extend the life of the Xbox One unless they can sync up and allow extended display or take off UI from the game an out into your playing room
