@obscure
What a bunch of balony.
You mean we should demand PlayStation to start offering games that not too long ago they would've had access to?
What about Microsoft? How come they're not investing in new rpg devs??? They're just buying what's already out there. That's not an investment or them addressing their problem in some unique way. They're doing it in the most pathetic and anti consumer way possible. Demand better....
Im confused. The game was released before the acquisition. MS had no say.
Absolutely. But best to wait and see how it goes.
Well...if you downloaded them you kept them so...basically it is still a good deal for those that did that.
I don't believe that Xbox will sell 40million. Maybe at the end of its life cycle during next gen.
To be fair ...the game is being laughed at everywhere online.
I'd say Morrowind was extremely complete. It was their last ditch effort to stay afloat and not close down. It was a great effort indeed.
But since that game they have only dumbed down their systems a ridiculous amount. The games have actually gotten smaller and smaller. Except for fallout 3 to fallout 4.
Don't get me started with starfield. That game is actually their smallest yet. Smallest in hand crafted content. Shortest main story campaign of...
No
They havent contributed a single popular IP from scratch since they started. Everything has been bought out. Lots of bad contributions and nothing good.
You mean to say its not very big...right?!
...the market share.
But where are the games?
Because those guys dont actually care about gaming at all. They just like their green toy.
So they bought a huge portion of western developers. They want to buy nintendo which would be an enormous market addition. They also want to buy valve which would give them the entirety of PC market.
No..not a monopoly at all. Who wouldve even guessed that this was their intention...
Wait..we all did. Except for fanboys.
How you work that out? Did Xbox say they're more profitable than PlayStation?
How does that work ...playststiin sells more, sells more software and makes better games. And spends less on subscriptions like Gamepass ...
How exactly is Xbox more profitable?
Starfield is a huge success. We have seen 10 million players go through 100 billion loading screens.
I laughed at the loading screens...
But I do think you're about a billion short there
And then...of headline is accurate, he spent 10 hours flying around an empty boring space ..poor guy
Unless he is into mediocre galaxy simulators.
Absolutely!
It's be nice for the system to be more fleshed out to reward this type of engagement with the game. But some here have low expectations.
So yeah...power to them! Unfortunately the game doesnt give them that.
@tacoboto
Already played the game. But I guess they dumbed it down didn't they? Outposts outside or resource collection are useless...
@got_dam
Never said anything against the guy. But it would be nice for the games system to reward the guy...unless you know fuck that guy...he has all this fun but it's good for nothing in the game....maybe that's what you prefer.
It's not hurting anybody. Starfield is an average game in the sea of incredible ones already released and more to come.
Sony made their marvel Spiderman games developed by their studios in agreement with marvel and when they already own Spiderman...if anything you should've been thanking Sony for letting other platforms have access to Spiderman before. Not sure if Sony has owned spiderman for a long time or not but it's been a while.
But that said you g...
