Where Sony buys studios that have been functioning as 1st party and constantly making 1st party IP for them...Microsoft goes around and says....gimme hell blade, elder scrolls, fallout, starfield, dishonored franchise, doom, Wolfenstein, evil within, etc etc.....and now they're like gimme StarCraft, diablo, warcraft, cod etc.
And the 120fps label on the Xbox series s box....that shit is a lie!

Yeah no. People didn't want a platform holder to start buying up 3rd party IP ...that's exactly what MS is doing and making them exclusive.

Yeah that's true. But seeing as we can clearly see that MS was always going to increase the pricing, it was only a matter of time before one of them raised the price.

I do agree that gamepass isn't that great. But the price increase is typical of Microsoft. They only follow trends. They claim to take pro consumer and gamer positions but it's all a facade. When Sony did their price increase...Microsoft ...

Early on for sure. I'll never forget the first hours of elden ring.
What a relief. Not a fan of the open world they made. Got not so interesting after about 5 hours of it. Huge fan of the map...just wished there was more variety in the open world. The beginning of the game is amazing in how it gives you this adventurous feeling...for me it went away due to repeated dungeons and bosses...it could have continued if things were different everywhere.
Still remember having to find a torch to be able to go into the dark dungeon with the 2 rat li...
Personally think botw was overrated but I still think it deserved the win. Even though the open world needed lots more work it did create a sense of self discovery lacking in open worlds lately. Less hand holding was very good too. More secrets, real dungeons like in ocarina of time and more enemy variety would've been a huge help for that game.
Not really. Most sales in many games are coming from new gen owners. And the sales aren't differing greatly from what they were last gen so most have transitioned. Many individuals buy the same console 2x as well so the numbers don't portray an actual install base.

Haven't played it yet so no opinion on that but I definitely don't have issues with difficult games. Like all souls and souls like games. And I actually don't find those games particularly difficult. Old school games are much harder.
You mischaracterize it. You should have said 'fun not difficult' that's the issue at hand. A chore in videogames is something like go kill 10 crabs. That's a chore. This game I don't think has chores. It's difficult for many and that appears to be the problem.

That game was phenomenal...definitely gonna give this a go now. Anything compared to death stranding is a huge positive for me. Truly a new gaming experience.
