I dont keep a list. But it started before its release. Many articles came out criticizing the white gruff male biker.
Then in those same articles the idea that the game is completely generic surfaced...even though its anything but generic. Mind you...these articles were not even previews.

From that main concept of bad white male and generic game came all the negative reviews voicing similar things along the same lines. Some went straight to woke while others danced...

All of a sudden??
You mean since the concept of CoD being owned by a competing platform? I wouldnt call that 'all of a sudden.'

A commitment in writing...yes of course they follow through on that. They have to, unless they like being sued.

It doesnt. People pretend these kinds of things are revelations...they arent.
The agreement is a formality for the platforms that MS essentially owns. On Switch it will likely remain available through streaming...so an inferior version by far.
On PlayStation, however, MS stands to gain a lot by removing it from that platform.

I would give the game at 8/10 in that scale. It was definitely a good game. The woke reviews and woke influenced reviews were definitely an issue. I mean thankfully many bypassed the reviews and went ahead and tried it recently. Looking at the user reviews and its clear that the critics got it pretty wrong.

Yes but the same kind of tone was found in many other reviews that didnt specifically say the same thing.

Ummm...botw sucked dude. It's a downgrade from past Zelda games. Open world bug fucking whoop. Elden ring is a souls game...love those...but the open world needs serious work. I did like it more than horizon forbidden West. But Nintendo didn't make elden ring.

They did release Metroid dread. But yes I'd like a new fps Metroid...also i really liked that starfox adventure game ...and yes an Fzero would be nice.

Congrats to Nintendo...can we get some more game variety now? They're clearly successful enough to have more IP coming out

I'm sure there are legitimate criticisms of the game...but bringing up difficulty is not one of them. What I recommend for every journalist is to compare difficult games with the first ninja garden games. If it's not as difficult then it's not a problem. Let the game be.

Difficult does not equal chore. If you talk about games as being chores because of difficulty then dont play games. You obbviously dont like them. You can youtube playthroughs instead. You get everything out of it except the gameplay aspect you find a chore.

Isn't this already the case though? Cod is already on all of those. It's on Xbox, PC, steam, android devices and through the cloud on TV and likely will be that way with Nintendo. And it's also on PlayStation. The biggest concern is if it is removed from platforms after the deals are up. So in the end it would be in less places if not on PlayStation. And PlayStation holds a considerable population of cod players.

That's not the point. He said imagine. So here we only need to be afraid of MS because of their wallet?

How nice it is when your platform of choice decides to be the most anti consumer in all years of gaming combined.

It's a game that has been passed down from generations to generations.

Kneel before the waiting game!

1147d ago 7 agree2 disagreeView comment

Guess you didn't realize the streaming is available.

1147d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

They still have less choice.

1147d ago 16 agree24 disagreeView comment

Only in the sense of having to wait longer for it to go down to a more palatable price point.

Good for the higher ups. Devs don't get anything in return. Bad for consumers. Bad for gaming since its explosion in popularity and increase in sales across the board.

No reason to increase the price any more since they put in MTX ..and special editions...and season passes...and dlc content.

No justifiable reason for the increase.

Except that you failed to see the point that xbox doesnt have exclusive games...that is the problem. 2 years in and they got close to nothing...and halo infinite wasnt great at all...definitely not 'infinite.'

They will have the games because they bought exclusivity rights...thats the only reason they will have games now. Well I meant next year of course.
