The IP is Sega's. Shenmue 2 was exclusive to Xbox in North America because the Dreamcast was dead and I assume Microsoft bidded the highest.
Cuphead looks amazing - reminds me of Betty Boop and old Max Fleischer cartoons, but in hell.
Please be excited.
I think they'll moooove quite a few copies.
Blur was great fun.
@nosferatuzodd (hey look - I spelled YOUR name correctly)
"its easy to change tune now i remember the same people ((for instance you guys)) was saying otherwise when the shoe was on the other foot"
I dare you to find anything in my post history where I said anything to that effect. Also, I buy the main consoles of every generation, so I have no horse in that particular race.
@MysticStrummer
"Why would it be unintelligent or otherwise bad to speculate that stronger hardware possibly wasn't being used to it's full potential, even if it wasn't on purpose?"
Because not every game requires every single ounce of a console's power to be squeezed out. Simply put - some games aren't as demanding as others, and thus, won't be affected by a power difference.
As a real-world related example,...
I hope NextLevel said grace and put his napkin down on his lap, because he just got served.
They're not being compensated at all? I figured they'd at least get X free rentals to test the service. If they're charging them, how the hell is it a beta?
I play every night with and without my clan, and the only problem we have with matchmaking is sometimes getting a DLC match right away. It's a little slower than launch, but that might have something to do with the matchmaking system than player count. Also, I see newer players all of the time, so people are still buying it. I don't understand why people are quick to say that it's dying when it certainly is not.
@Darkstares
"Does anyone else find it disturbing that those who seem to dislike the system the most are often the same people who talk about it the most?"
I've never understood this. Most normal people buy a product and then simply enjoy that product. However, there are some who simply have this ridiculous need to berate anything that is in competition with their purchase and the people who support that other product. It's sad.
I know it's too late, but The Vaudevillains would be amazing. The entrance alone. Plus the squat thrusts and handshakes.
From the article: "To be eligible for this list the actual game had to have a playable demo on the E3 show floor, or at least a guided theater presentation."
Vanquish is one of my favorite games from last gen - which makes it a steal at 8 bucks.
Not a "streamer" by definition, but I've logged more hours watching SaltyBet than anything else. There's just something fun watching AI fighters from different games and universes going at it while people bet fake money and chat.
September through November is going to sexually assault my wallet.
This is truly great and makes going digital instead of disc a lot more attractive.
Battletoads HD would be stellar. Blast Corps would be like sexytime.
@morganfell
No, it's not free for Gold members. So tell us how evil Microsoft is for charging us for a game, how much better the PS4 and PC versions are, and then be on your way so the rest of us can have a legitimate discussion.
On-topic (really on-topic): I played this for about fifteen minutes at around midnight last night. Got scared and threw my controller across the room, so I decided to wait until daylight. Excited to play after work.

Seems to be a year-round thing in Oz.
