People by itself decide when to buy a console, and such articles won`t make much effect. people have their head, and most of them know what they are buying and for what they are paying. =)
Anyway, PS3 was always a great value for money, no matter what, for next 5-10 years, you will have great HD console, great blu-ray player and FREE online gaming.
PS3 is a great investment into the future, that`s why at this point, price doesn`t matter much.
