FFX on PS2 was one of the best looking games on ps2.
FFVII:CC on PSP is one of the best looking games on psp.

ofcourse ps3 had hard start, due blu-ray ansd cell, but for next 5 years, blu-ray will be always in PS3, and that will help to create amazing games.
I heard, that mass effect is 2/3 of game is great, and last 1/3 is not that good, same goes for Assasin`s Creed, imo it`s due lack of space on DVD.

well just look at RE5, it looks amazing, coming late 2008 or early 2009.
is it hard to understand, that developers use only 15-30$ of SPU, while most developers on ps3 at all DON`T use SPU`s, that why when they get to use 80-90% of it`s power it will show amazing results?
i mean, there was an article, where HAVOK engine, after optimizing it on SPU beg...
it`s probably not time for PS3...

And let`s not forget many FPS haven`t been released on ps3 yet. And we all know, that americans are keen mostly on FPS and Action games, which are yet to come on PS3.

3rd year PS3 will get games like Gow2 on PS2, because, ps2 had complicated GPU and CPU, while PS3 has only complicated CPU.
and PS2 had only 4Mb vram, it was more about processing power, that`s why when developers will be able to optimize 80-90% of Cell power, we will see amazing games.
Ratchet is near pixar quality game, next Ratchet will look like pixar movie.

1st year - 10 mln.
2nd year - 30 mln.
3rd year - 50 mln.
x360:
1st year - 8 mln.
2 year - 15(?) mln.
PS3:
1st year - 8(?) mln.
2nd year - 25(?) mln.
after 2 years PS3 will have much more great games, that x360 has today. That`s why it will dominate.
Wii won`t have big effect, because some game developers want to create games in HD, and won`t switch just because of controls.
