Ofcourse, if you will try to port game from x360 or pc to ps3, you will have some troubles. But if you develop game for ps3 only, you won`t have any problems, like those games above. =)

yeah, it`s not because of power and graphics Gears of war sold over 4 mln. copies. Yeah, sure, graphics deosn`t matter anymore. 6h game - is our choice.
wii is just like tetris, or tamagochi, or yo-yo, it will be popular some time, then people will forget it.

1) First of all, to create great NEXTgen GAME today cost around 20$ mln.
The more complex game is, the more it cost..
so to create a great game in 2009-2010 on a new hardware will cost even more.
2) New console always cost money to create, and company`s sales them for lower price, then it cost. x360 400$ - 735$; ps3 600$ - 840$. Unless there will be some GF8800GTX in next x720, they will definately lose money on it.

p.s. in 2005 people were buying x360 for 399$, which had OLD dvd, NO HDMI, VERY VERY sh1tty BC, FAILING HARDWARE, online gaming was for money, and still people were buying. Something changed in 2 years? People don`t want better quality products now? =))

That`s why noone will believe in ubisoft words.
1) there are a lot of ps3 games, which run in native 1080p, while x360 has only 2.
2) name me games in these genres, which are more graphically advanced then:
GT5
Ratchet
FFXIII
and x360 already 2 years out.. =)
i wonder, is it because they believe, that 8gigs will somehow increase, or that developers won`t get easier to develop on ps3. =))
p.s. btw, on PS3 develop easier then on PS2, if you use only RSX and PPU, it`s becoming hard, when you want to use 7 SPE. =) But when you use.. you can achieve amazing things.. =)
For now most developers use around 15-20% os SPE or at all don`t use them.. but with time, they will get used to it. =) Then nothing will stop ps3.
