Still waiting for the hilarity this title suggests.
oh get bent...what pointless drivel.
well said Porkins. 15 exclusives is HUGE freaking news - now let's wait and see what happens with E3.
Let's not forget about E3...less than 3 weeks away people. Wait and see what happens there, then if you still aren't convinced, wait a few months or longer and see what the general populous says before making your decision.
You all are making an assumption on so much that still hasn't been officially confirmed or items that have conflicting reports. I'll have an Xbox One on day 1 and the PS4 as well. I have no total allegiances.
I get that companies want their slice of the pie but I can only think that this has potential to do some serious damage as a whole to the gaming industry.
Sadly this will be my last comment on this matter because this is a great conversation with no trash talk...which is odd around these parts...
But here goes.
Things that make the PS3 a failure:
1 - Difficult to program for. far too many games ran poorly on the PS3 compared to other systems
2 - PSN. It just sucks. No x game chat, cumbersome interface (Granted PSN Plus is a nice step in the right direction but that came late in the lifecycle) <...
Also fear. I would say that both companies actually fear each other. MS did that because they were nowhere near the level that Sony was at the time. Sony is doing it back this time around because they failed monumentally with the PS3. Like it or not that's the truth.
@Blackdeath - You aren't wrong by any stretch. MS was likely very happy with sticking to a timeline of showing it off at E3 but seems that E3 is becoming something a little less important to these compan...
A strong display of fear on the part of Sony if you ask me.
Personally I hope there's only a small amount of time on this if it gets announced tomorrow. I want system details, I want to know what it can do for me, their vision/direction for the new system, see it, and I want to see real games.
Forza bores me. Racing games as a whole bore me to death.
uhmm...yea....and? It's called R&D...
this is no surprise to anyone
For starters Geoff is a professional so I highly doubt he would have made such a monumental mistake. Secondly, the easily could have reshot and or edited it out if he did have a monumental brain fart like that.
Rest in Peace?!?
How about Rest in Hell with E.T. for the Atari.
Can't hurt some grammar and English skills of today's citizens...
"are country" ? =P
Joe Biden can get bent. Who's going to decide what's deemed as "violent"? A government department? Ya that's going to go over real well. What about TV shows, Movies...hell what about the evening news that shows real world violence in the form of war or even stupid acts of humanity?
What a dumbass.
***yawn*** is Clifford still running his big mouth? Right. Come back and give us commentary on the industry when you find a job.
HE's very..."How can I keep my self in the spotlight by speaking out against the majority of gamers" friendly though
He\s currently not in the industry and therefore no longer an important figure in my opinion. So sick of this guy.
I hear what he's saying about phones and tablets but I just can't bring myself to think of them as proper or even viable options for gaming at this time. I love my 92" home theater for gaming and don't want to use my phone or tablet for actual games. Sure I use them for stupid things to kill a few minutes here and there but that's it for my mobile gaming.
HAHAHA! And the collective gaming community says "Meh..are we supposed to care?"
this has no bearing on me since I'll be plugging in the optical cable into my Turtle Beaches anyway. Howwever, having said that I sure as hell hope the quality of voice is much improved over where it is now because people sound like they're sitting about 100 feet away from their TVs when they use this as the microphone.
