I don't agree with you here on the DRM issue. It's going to be back in time but will look much different than how it was originally portrayed. I think that it's coming back in phases and not universal. By that I mean that I see the games that people buy online week have a form of DRM but those titles will be available on your "family sharing". Also I see the push to go all digital content distribution via a few potential avenues. Cheaper prices for day one game buyers on...

I really can't recall any time I've "Bashed Kinect". I don't love kinect but I've had fun with the few games I own for my kinect. I play it with my daughter and my wife. So I have absolutely no idea what you're speaking of here.
The public distaste I have is regarding some of the features MS was looking to implement with XBox One. Give your head a shake.
I don't see the voice or motion control options as gimmicky. As long as the accuracy is there, I think that the more creative minds who make the money coming up with new ideas and concepts can bring us some pretty sweet game play additions.
There's some innovation going on with these 2 systems but for the most part will continue to be status quo based on certain technological barriers and the general public unwillingness to see the bigger picture or embrace some radical movements.
HOWEVER, I think on a gaming front we're about to embark on some truly next gen experiences from a gameplay and presentation standpoint and i'm very excited to see how this plays out.
I'd put Lunar 1 and 2 in there as well as the original Suikoden.

I agree with you. It was near impossible to get any real cohesion with so many people to come together as one team.
Personally I really think that it would lend itself very nicely as a TV series as opposed to a movie there's simply to much to cram into a 2.5hr movie.
I really don't think this is a sexist thing to be perfectly honest. It's really more an unfair and immature reaction to not knowing just how she'll handle the division as a non gamer. They fear she's going to lead them astray or lose focus. WHich, it could be argued that the people who were in charge and WERE gamers had veered off course to a certain degree losing focus of what's important to gamers.
