Everyone needs to calm down, we don't even have a price or name or apps yet. People now days are so impatient.
Even if Natal or Wave as it were was $149, then at least everyone can play it at the same time in the same house. With the Wii and "Move" you need additional controller and the like. So Natal is actually cheaper.
I am getting it day one, the reason isn't just gaming, it's offering a lot of different media capabilities and I am looking forward to...

Power Glove was terrible, didn't work. Eye Toy was bad and too rudimentary to work. Sega 32X was horrid and they dropped support almost right away. Anyone remember the "E Reader"? for the Game Boy Advance, that thing was a huge flop. The Turbo Grfx 16 CD add on....the list goes on and on. Though there are successes, I mean the Wii itself is an old Gamecube with motion control add on, so maybe add on's can work?

It's well worth $150 if it can do everything it says it does. However and this is a biggie, Microsoft is going to be willing to take a loss to get this thing implemented into people's homes.
Also, even at $150 everyone in your house can use it. With the Wii and Move, everyone need's their own controllers. Which in the long run would be more expensive then Natal. If the Move is $99 and you want 4 people to play, well do the math. It's much, much more then $150.

Original Xbox had the manufacturer stop making the chip set, which caused them to stop production early and force the 360 out. 5 years later the tech has shrunk enough to fit into a smaller case. It was a faulty clamp that caused the 360 failures, nothing more. If Sony can shrink their newer tech down, Microsoft can too. Almost every major place is saying a 360 slim is coming and Microsoft need's to re-brand themselves if they want to stay where they are at. A slim 360 would likely sell l...

This will probably be pretty good. I enjoyed The Force Unleashed. I really want Star Wars Battlefront 3 and Knights of The Old Republic 3. KOTOR was the reason I bought my original Xbox and I loved playing those games.

I don't think anyone can "Win" at E3. I think it depends on what your looking for.
Sony more then likely didn't want Killzone 3 being announced just yet, it was all the leaked stuff and then we get confirmation. Also, Sony unlike Microsoft has only 1 show, Microsoft has an exclusive show for Natal and another show for everything else. Sony probably does want extra time for "Move" though. So outside of the obvious games and sequels expect Sony to push Move A...

Like I've been saying, we haven't actually heard from the company itself about the price and we haven't seen any of the troves of games being developed. We can speculate all we want, Microsoft might even be waiting to get the price on the Move before they come out with their own price.
If it's $100 or so I'd say that's pretty cheap for something that has so much more then gaming capabilities. Also, take this into consideration. You only need 1 Natal or Wave or ...

"Complementary Product" is them avoiding calling it a "Add on" which is what it really is. Of course it's a copy of the Wii. Does anyone actually think if Nintendo had come out with a standard console this cycle that we'd be seeing the Move? Of course not. Everyone want's a piece of the Nintendo pie, but their is a reason Nintendo games are the best selling, highest rated games, most innovative gaming company ever. I mean from the NES to the DS to the Wii, it&#...

That'd be my list. The Wii has forced it's competitors to play on it's own level and that is saying something.
This guy's list is odd, but it's his own opinion.

3-D isn't for everyone. It's not something the average person will be into. Glasses to watch television or play a game is just not a good idea.
Unlike HDTV or Blu Ray, it's just not something the larger part of the world is going to be interested in.

Sometimes it's good to be able to permanently mute people by their gamertags. Of course PS3 doesn't have this problem, nobody has a mic on their and those that do sound like the drive through guy at Burger King.

But..but....but Killzone 2 was perfect right? it was the epitome of perfection, the true Halo Killer......

Conviction was far better then MGS4 IMO. I couldn't stand the direction MGS4 took. You can beat the game in under 2 hours if you skip the cut scene movies. There were very little actual stealth in the game.
It's like asking people do they want to watch a movie about stealth (MGS4) or do you want to play in a game about stealth (SCC)? The answer is clear.

The non gaming aspects are something that really interests me.Controlling media, volume, tracks etc.. via Natal are impressive and give it an edge over the competition. Also, even if it's $150 and the Move is $99, you'd need more then one controller for Move to be able to play with friends in the same house, not so with Natal, so Move could potentially cost twice as much as Natal.
Nice article and I know Microsoft is loving the buildup and hype leading up to E3. Everyone is ta...

Microsoft has really got to be loving all this attention they are getting. great marketing on their part. No matter if you like them or hate them, EVERYONE is talking about them right now.
All eyes on them at E3, no matter what.

Let's see, we can go with sales and Halo wins, we can go with average score on the series and Halo wins, we can go with interest and pre-orders and Halo wins, we could go with media or fans and Halo wins.
Ya, Killzone is sure a Halo killer alright. (Sarcasm)
For Killzone to be taken seriously it would have to have some staying power, Halo 3 which is over 3 years old still has 1 million players daily. Killzone 1 is dead and Killzone 2 is dead, especially online. I mean we h...

I suspect the next Xbox will be shown at E3 next year anyway.
I think it depends on Natal, I mean if it goes crazy and sells 300% better like the slim PS3 did, then I don't think they will be in a hurry. I kind of suspect Natal and Slim 360 bundle will sell very, very well. Pretty much how the companies are now is how they will finish up this cycle.

Splinter Cell Conviction will never be on the PS3, they are already working on the sequel. Ghost Recon was delayed to incorporate Natal with it, so I am pretty excited about that. It will be cool to have some shooters use that.
