2nd Hawaii!
Cool!
Where are you seeing an A.I. adjustment?
After the first 2 levels of the campaign, it's just not playable for me. Could be a great game if it just had selectable difficulty settings, a driving line option, tires that actually grip, etc. Am having fun in The Crew, though, and am looking forward to Project Cars, and eventually, Gran Turismo 7.
Yes, I do think most developers of all games (both console and mobile) have lost sight of the fun/enjoyment factor. They tend to code a single level of difficulty in their games so the games are challenging for themselves. But they are experts at their games with hundreds or thousands of hours of gameplay experience in the game. We need selectable levels of gameplay difficulty so everyone can enjoy the games - not just the experts.
Speaking specifically to FH2 & DC, I think both of these have issues in the fun department. A few of the challenges in FH2 were overly difficult and detracted from the fun factor. Beyond the first two career levels of DC, the career events are exceedingly difficult and destroy the fun. The same can be said for a number of the main campaign missions in The Crew. They really need selectable difficulty levels in these so everyone can enjoy them without becoming overly frustrated.
Hopefully, Gran Turismo 7 will get released by the end of this year.
Definitely needs more game support. For example, Sony's official compatibility list & PS store says it's compatible with Gran Turismo PSP, but when you try to download it from the store, you get an error message saying the game isn't compatible. Pretty decent for playing your own media, but getting your media on it is more of a hassle than it should be. Not bad at general web surfing - doesn't appear to do streaming radio, but streaming video from YouTube, Dailymotion a...
Not until they bring out a Gran Turismo title for the PS4. And the PS3 is a great multimedia machine for playing your own content as well. I might get a new slim model if they get cheap enough.
Placed my order this morning. Looking forward to trying out not just gaming, but also the media playback and web surfing capabilities as well.
No Man's Sky
Project Cars
Talos Principle
and if we're lucky,
GT7
Definitely needs selectable difficulty settings and the option of a driving line. Many of the career events are so dark, it's impossible to see where you're supposed to be going. Which is a shame, because this really is a gorgeous looking game.
Although consoles are still popular at the moment, I agree with their position. Even though I did recently acquire a PS4 and am looking forward to picking up The Crew, Project Cars and GT7, I spend at least as much time gaming on my tablets now. And once a decent Android or iOS gaming set-top box debuts, I'll be getting one. The whole tech area is changing rapidly. My last Windows PC (which I bought 7 years ago for $600) died recently, and instead of going the Windows route again, I b...
For anyone looking for alternatives, if you have a Amazon Prime subscription or are considering subscribing, the Prime Music part of Amazon Prime is pretty decent. And they just added radio stations, so you can play music in just about any genre you can think of. And they just added a mini player for the PC & Mac app. You can't download Prime Music tracks to your PC or Mac unless you buy the track, but you can download tracks to your Android or iOS device. All with no ads. :-)
Personally, I think this is a pretty interesting product. Although it's missing streaming apps, I'm wondering if some of those services couldn't just be streamed through the PS TV's web browser? I like that I also can play my own media on it as well. Besides memory cards, I'm wondering if the USB port can also be used to play media as well? Overall, the PS TV seems to have a lot of potential.
Even though I wouldn't give FH2 2/10, I don't totally disagree that there hasn't been that much improvement. I do think the location in FH2 is a bit more pleasing to the eye, but it's frustrating so much of the map is walled off, especially areas near water. Towns are sterile - no life. It would be nice if we had some customization options in the environment, like custom billboards. Overall, I would give it a 6 or 7. Looking forward to trying out DriveClub, Project Cars &...
Happy Birthday Cat!
I wasn't referring to the article - my original comment specifically said TITLE. The title and the article contradict each other.
The title is a lie - this steambox does not beat the PS4 in price. It costs $100 more than the PS4.
Really enjoying The Crew. Some of the challenges and missions are more difficult than they should be, but really love just cruising around enjoying all the beautiful scenery and wildlife in it's open world. Dream come true for me. Would love to see add on packs from around the world.
