The best console (along with the Dreamcast) that (almost) nobody bought.

Wind Waker, Geist, Mario Sunshine, Rogue Squadron, Eternal Darkness, Luigi's Mansion, Tales of Symphonia, even Chibi Robo...some great games on the 'Cube. Good thing they're all backwards-compatible with the Wii.

That Metroid package will be AWESOME to have. And I'm going to DL the original game from the Virtual Console soon.

A Samus summer!

Lazy devs. :)

Price...

...and a poorly-places analog stick.

I'm sorry, but selling a handheld--even a good one--in this economy for the same price as a Wii (and less than the cheapest 360) is NOT a good idea.

And those controls look awkward.

I was expecting something else...such a misleading title! :)

Halo 3 and CoD4...wow. Still chugging along.

Interesting to see Sacred 2 in the top twenty...despite mixed reviews, it seems to have found an audience.

Only the fanboys are bashing...the real gamers appreciate the amazing titles and innovation from each company.

Natal is amazing...

The Last Guardian is further proof that the line between art and games is slowly dwindling...

Mass Effect 2 will redefine the Western RPG...

And Uncharted 2 looks like the best action/adventure out there (and it has some serious competition)

Get over it, everyone. Enjoy your games.

The more I see of Mass Effect 2, the more I want it...

That game is going to be EPIC.

@1.1

They're calling it out because it didn't slump as badly as most other consoles did in May, and it's still experiencing growth year over year. In this economy, that's a small victory.

1. Great to see something other than Wii Fit/Wii Play/Mario Kart take the top sales spot. Over one million between 360 and PS3...bet THQ is glad they grabbed that license!

2. Infamous did pretty well for the short time it was out. But will it fade quickly, like KZ2, LBP, etc? Be nice to see that game have some legs and hold up long-term.

3. I think the Wii may finally be coming down to earth. Supply has caught up with demand, and other than Punchout (which did very w...

I guess gaming may not be so recession-proof, after all. It just took longer for the lousy economy to hit the gaming industry.

Never thought I'd agree with Kaz Hirai...

...but he's right.

Nintendo (and to a much lesser extent, Microsoft) should remember that.

LOL. Good one.

Time spent counting pixels and framerates could be time spent PLAYING SOME GAMES.

Let the fanboys have their pissing contests over trivial crap.

Keep the movie, trade in the game (it's WRETCHED).

A better bundle would have been the new Wolverine game and a copy of X2.

There is a Hannah Montana PSP bundle in the works...seriously.

After She Who Must Not Be Named broke up with me (and tried to set fire to my car, LOL), I threw myself into Super Metroid (bought an old, used SNES from a guy in my dorm).

Great way to rid myself of a soulless, life-sucking leech...killing soulless, life-sucking leeches.

(Made the same comment on Kotaku...still relevant...) :)

No doubt about it: First-day purchase.

...and millions who will buy it anyway. Including these protesters.
