Well, the man's entitled to his opinion.
But RAPED? Seriously?
Guilty of a few thousand myself.
Ugh...you're right. Just noticed that. Hard to take that site seriously.
Unfortunately, it still exists...as someone responsible for gaming at a large Best Buy store in a major city, I still occasionally see dead consoles that are only a few months old...but thankfully, nowhere near as many as two years ago.
So the RRoD is still an issue...just not as bad as it once was.
It's NOT acceptable...and if I didn't enjoy the 360 experience so much, I would have given up on it a long time ago.
Thankfully, after four dead consoles in one year (yes, ONE YEAR, thank God for Best Buy replacement plans), I am going on two years with my Falcon Elite, which has been flawless.
I don't care what kind of tech is in the next Xbox...as long as it is RELIABLE.
Agreed. The gloss black shows dust and fingerprints easily, whereas this one probably wouldn't. Not a big deal, really, but some people will care.
HHG himself: No
Most of his writers: Hell yes.
Fanboys, who would rather flame each other over someone's console of choice rather than just PLAYING GAMES.
Play the games of your choice, on the system of your choice, and allow other to do the same.
I've reported it on the contributor's forum. Hopefully they can smoke him out and deal with him. Pathetic, really.
Only if your 360 is outside the standard one-year warranty. All issues are covered for that time period, outside of abuse. After one year, THEN you have to pay, unless it's the RRoD, which has a three-year warranty.
EDIT: OK, a disagree? For stating the truth, w/o fanboyism? PATHETIC.
I'd mail them back with a little fake blood on them...
Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait...(gasps for air)...
Seriously stoked about this game. If it's anything like the first one...awesome.
Very generic.
The final art is clever, and almost iconic.
(Two thumbless hands for the inevitable sequel?)
MS tends to keep their cards close to their chest...so they'll probably wait until E3 to show what they have planned for later this year.
Don't count them out so soon.
I mean, who will forget last year's E3 bombshell...?
Casual games can sometimes work on the 360...but as I noted below, You're in the Movies is crap.
Well, Banjo and Viva are definitely worth the cost, and maybe Scene It, as well. (I've enjoyed the new Scene It...better than the first one).
But You're In the Movies is shovelware. The 360 has some appeal to casual gamers, but crap like that is not how you cater to them.
1800+ Achievements for 45000+ here.
I'm such a score-wh*re. :)
Congrats to Bungie for their amazing franchise.
Now bring on Halo 4!
Nope.
$50/year for Live should cover it anyway.
Well, it hasn't become the "next Mario" that so many touted it to be.
But I sincerely doubt that anyone who has bought the game regrets their purchase. It's one of the most original games of the last ten years.
