Personally, I'm enjoying it, cliches and all. I knew what to expect going in, and that hasn't deterred me one bit.
And "Up Your Arsenal" wasn't risque?
That original title would have been a major LOL for a looong time amongst gamers.
Expect a few cheeky and censor-skirting gags in the final game, as well...something Insomniac is well-known for.
And I'm one of them.

You know, Too Human isn't bad. I picked up a copy for $20, and other than the lame story and glitchy camera, it's a blast.

Some good points there...but I do think that the 360 will have a longer life than the original Xbox, for these reasons:
~It costs tons of moolah to develop and launch a new console. With the economy being what it is, I don't foresee another Xbox until 2011, at the very earliest.
~The 360 does have a ton of life left in it...imagine a 360, with hundreds of games, at $149/$99...look at what the PS2 did at that price point.
~There were other factors behind ...

32GB is expensive now, but give it a year...memory drops in price very fast. A year from now, you'll be able to get one for $30 (or so).
Besides, right now you can get a 2GB card for $10. That's a good start.

Star Ocean 4 has single-handedly killed my completion percentage. The achievements are doable, but many of them take an immense amount of time to finish (like the ones for trophies and item creation).
I'm enjoying the game, but I'm not confident about getting more than 500-600 points out of it.
Also, the writer of the article forgot both Chromehounds and Rayman Raving Rabbids as harder-than-expected achievement games.
From my personal experience on Live:
~Most people with "sniper" in their names can't hit the broadside of a battleship with a sniper rifle, let alone another player's head;
~Most "gangsta/gangstar" ones are teenage white kids who talk a far better game than they play, and usually rap (badly) into their mics;
