Surely it is because PS5 will have its own VR hardware, that is where they want the focus to be. As soon as you bring new tiles on hardware that is already outdated it will just confuse the market place. It’s frustrating to wait. But so be it.
It looks shallow because it is not in feudal Japan? I think the reason they are not set in feudal Japan is the fact they have always been a homage to early western RPGs like Wizardry and Ultima. They made a slight jump away from six onwards, and doubled down on the futuristic meets magic aspects after the success of VII. There have been characters and elements that have made nods to Japanese and Asian history. But it’s hard to complain that something is not like Final Fantasy then ask for som...
I think it is divisive. If might be better received if it was demarcated from the series and viewed in its own right. The game is very good and clearly had a huge impact on action games after. It is just so different from what went before in structure and gameplay terms.
But Code Veronica was a mess. It would be nice if they jumper between various different ideas. I love the first games but 4 and 7 are exceptional games. Even 5 and 6 for all their flaws have some qualities.
Piqued.
As a Wii U owner I am disappointed at the high cost and number of the ports.
On the flip side while Nintendo often stick to the same IPs they do make significant and often influential changes between them. I guarantee HZD sequel will absorb many BotW features for example.
I think Nintendo innovates within its own franchises, the three games on this disk are distinct, the value of nostalgia is earned; many of their old games are still excellent, especially on SNES. But buying these three barely enhanced ports at a premium price is a crappy move, you don’t even need a mainline studio to do it. Have the Same game let the graphics change. Why not leave both versions in for purists? And add Galaxy 2 for fuck’s sake. You’re not Konami.
No Galaxy 2.
Who stole it from Columbo.
Of course they are. They’re Obsidian.
Arguing the merits of a launch PS4 game that came out in 2013 has a weaker frame rate than something in 2020 on new hardware does not sound like a strong start to an argument to me. Killzone PS4 also did not solely stick to corridors. I agree it is not an amazing game, only if we are being hyperbolic is it a bad one. Of course Halo must be judged on gameplay too, but a flagship title should show the power of hardware.
There were plenty of right wing South American dictatorships in the past few decades Chile (Augusto Pinochet) Paraguay (Alfredo Stroessner) Brazil’s Fifth Republic 1964-1985 . Even the Cuban communist regime came from overthrowing a right wing dictator in the form of Batista. The thing I find weird about your post is you seem troubled that fascism was being attacked. Dictatorships are awful. Communism is awful. I think most people I know who are left leaning are looking at Sweden and not piec...
It’s almost like we are happier in childhood whatever we have to put up with, if I game felt bad you’d knock your head against it because it was what you were given,. Buying a game was a real lottery, we can look fondly on the gems now. But it was 95% crap at higher prices than now in my youth. That was with the SNES, the PS1 had an even lower quality ratio.
Wakka sounds like Bender from Futurama.
Absolutely you completely ignored it.
Do you think that’ll be in the finished game?
Flick the robot is not a euphemism.
It worked pretty neatly in Astrobot as a catapult and the ability to flick the robot. So virtual realty interactions may be a strength.
Show some proper games, stop obfuscating, that applies to Sony too. I am sure they’ll be great, but nobody cares about potential at this stage. You’ve teased for too long.
I own Twin Snakes. I don’t think it is the best version. Nothing to do with what system it came out on. I was really excited for it at the time, the mechanics just felt incongruous with the design from my perspective. But if that is your preferred version then I get that entirely. In contrast the GameCube Resident Evil remake was astounding and I far prefer it to the original. I wish they’d done that with 2.
