Uh, the controller is $59 just like the PS4 controller...$75 is if you want a detachable plug and play kit that works with any controller..so that if your controller dies, you don't need to buy a new battery, or if your battery dies you don't need to buy a new controller.
I'm right there with ya
Uh, the controllers cost the same. If you prefer the charge and play kit (as I do) you can use it with any controller or just use AA batteries. If the battery on a PS4 contoller dies, you buy a whole new controller...so the price washes out in the end, there's no real advantage here. True, the PS4 does come with a headset and MS is still considering it, but as of now it does not...but either way they are both cheap mono headsets (PS4 headset being the cheaper of the two, at least the X...
* (sorry had to make it two part cause I ran on too much)
Even if it's not an exclusive, the Titanfall developers at Respawn say that Titanfall won't go to PS4 due to network

It may sound idiotic at first, but really that's the kind of stuff it's coming down to...just preference. The policies are virtually identical. As time goes on we are seeing that the PS4 isn't really the "console powerhouse" everyone assumed it was at first, even if it is more powerful, it's not by much at all, and the way that it processes games will take more energy anyway being as XB1 will utilize DX 11.1/2 to help create better looking games with less.
I'd say that they just ordered a Standard edition and thought it was launch. However, that being said, having had every PS up until now, and then deciding to go Xbox only this gen until PS4 impresses me...I'll admit that THIS is the first thing that has been said that actually has me worried that I do need to get a PS4 right away...if there is a possibility that they are delaying it to upgrade it (perhaps they have some insider info about MS doing an upgrade)...well then I will be ve...
which is why it will never get support, never advance, and Sony will always fail to innovate. They will always be a gen behind relying on tired exclusive and paper specs. The smartest thing that Sony does is put out JUST enough specs to make people that know nothing about how gaming systems work THINK that they are getting the best system...then sit back and say nothing and let fanboys do all their marketing for them...that way PS fanboys can bash/lie/spread false rumors/troll away and try ...
They don't have to sign up, it's not a choice
I have feeling this is supposed to be a dig at the Kinect. My spider senses are tingling...however, you can also turn off the Kinect if you so choose..just putting that out there...true it has to be plugged in, but can be turned off. Just making sure that is out there, not sure if you are just pushing a false rumor or don't know this
word, next gen games look awesome
I played the game, it was not ground breaking in anyway. I liked it, the voice acting was great, and the story until the end was well done, but nothing that hasn't been done before. The gameplay was ok, but not very diverse, there are other similar games that did this better like Tomb Raider (the newest one). Like Tomb Raider the MP was a waste and a throwaway. Even on the most difficult setting it only took roughly 12 hours and had no replay value whatsoever (nothing even worth colle...
Ahh, it was written by Playstation magazine, no wonder they phrased it that way...I was confused
In the real world... 8.5/10
Oh no now the game is ruined...wait a sec, who is this person anyway? Nevermind I don't care
Uh,you guys DO realize those are pre-rendered screens correct? Even comparing that to a last generation game (crysis 3) isn't fair. Not only that, Killzone is only running at 25-30 fps, so it BETTER look amazing. I have to be honest, judging by the HD gameplay demos I've seen, it looks better than current gen, but no where close to the ground-breaking next gen some people pretend it is. It has that skin textures that remind me of a slightly better looking dishonored in a way. IMO...
Or XB1 Fans have more choices to spread their pre-orders across
Another way to read this is that there are less launch titles to be excited about on PS4
Well said, but I don't think Sony lied...Sony just never said anything to disprove it..and let the PS Fanboys run around building up hype (as has been their game the whole time...let's not forget, they had DRM too for a while, but then started seeing the backlash and quietly backed out...which turned out to be a smart move for them to do that first). I don't think it was Sony lying, it was PS Fanboys assuming something, then running around with that rumor like it was fact. I thi...
Well according to the tech demo from E3 it provides over 500,000 updates per second, and can provide enough computing data that would fry consoles. Maybe listen to the below, sorry it's only audio...there is a Kinect bit in the beginning, I'm a fan of the Kinect, but honestly this demo is kinda cheesy.
