I noticed that PS4 won't support external DVRs, but the XB1 will...maybe this is part of the reason XB1 decided to record for less time....but because of this, I would think that the signal to an external DVR would match that of any output signal...so if that DVR can do it...
Sony makes SO LITTLE money on the blu-ray sales in XB1 that it's laughable...Sony does not own Blu-Ray tech, they are just part of the consortium. There are other companies involved as well. XB1 won't be using a Sony Blu-Ray player, so they won't get money directly, and the amount that they will get is so minuscule that it's only double what Sony made this last decade (obviously that's a joke being as Sony has lost money)

Most games on XB1 run at 60fps no problem, most games on PS4 are struggling to reach that benchmark. SO something isn't right here, with PS4 being more "powerful". I know I know PS fanboys will say, but Killzone isn't finished yet, well all these games are launch games so they all release at the same time....except BF4 which will release earlier because it's on other consoles as well.

The point he was making was that "more Powerful" consoles don't lead to better games...and that these games don't sell more....in fact , the fact that most of those games are cross platform and sold more on 360 completely supports his point. Actually as it stands right now, 360 has the sales lead again...and games per console is much higher on the 360. It's also been proven that several PS3s were bought just as blu-ray players..that advantage won't exist anymore. Not to mention, most fans that had broken PS3s had to buy new ones, where as because the X360 famous RRoD issue gained so much popularity, MS extended the warranties and all those consoles were replaced for free and did not count towards console purchases.
Keep in mind that console ban in CHina just lifted, and the CHinese do NOT get along with the Japanese....they will be slow to get into the console war most-likely, but if MS gets the China market....good bye Sony
Well said, I agree with this article whole-heartedly. Fans will quickly discover that PS4 paper specs do not translate onto the screen. It's all about the exclusive and innovation towards the future, not just launch day (which MS has the exclusive advantage anyway)...XBL network will be leaps and bounds better than PSN which will go a long way towards adapting the systems to an ever-changing game world in the future. Why do PS fanboys keep making this seem like MS is celebrating in the streets about this, or like it was a desperate attempt to "keep up with PS4"?? If you ACTUALLY LISTEN to the interview, Mark Whitten almost skips over the 53mhz thing like it was nothing...almost like if to say "we realized we could do it with little to no side effects so we did" he spent like 1 minute talking about it, and then moved on and talked about the customized drivers for like 10-15 mintues......

Bioshock by a long shot...it didn't waste it's time with a pointless MP, the story and gameplay was MUCH better..and it was one of the few times where having a companion was actually a help instead of burden.
