If there is two of them it's clearly not a monopoly...
And your beloved xbox is a closed platform as well as Windows Store they both allow Microsoft to block or remove anything that doesn't fit a set of guidelines they set themselves.
This isn't a lawsuit that Microsoft Google Apple or Sony or Samsung or any number of other companies should want to see Epic win.
If Epic wins it would mean that all of them have to allow all of the others services on their platforms because they all have closed platforms on devices they themselves own.
This is opening a huge can of worms and consumers will be the losers no matter who wins the case.
Well, in general I'd like to agree. But they are using some sort of modified chiplet design so they can add more clusters. Apparently.they will offer cards with 1 2 and 4 clusters and they have a unique hardware not based on the traditional CU style design that Nvidia and AMD use.
Their cards could actually be awesome, we'll just have to wait and see.
After GT Sport released Turn 10 announced they were going to rework the physics from the ground up, that's why they have had to take a break from releasing new Forza Motorsports games.
The driving physics track detail and car models aren't even close to the same, if you want realistic simulation driving GT Sport is clearly the superior product, that's why it's been the game serious racing fans have turned to and why it sold so much better.
You guys making excuses for a trillion dollar company releasing unfinished content is exactly why they keep doing it. You die hard fans are the reason Microsoft thinks it can get away with constant lies and deceptions.
"It's a damned if he knew and damned if he didn't situation for Spencer"
But the thing is it's a problem of his own making, he was busy canceling games and closing studios and saying he didn't want xbox to compete with 3'rd parties and single player games weren't relevant.
The fact of the matter is that when Mattrick left he left Microsoft with a stable of studios and a line up of games. ...
Early access is just more PR BS to make excuses for releasing unfinished content. This is Microsoft a trillion dollar company they don't need to release games in early access like some self publishing indie company to pay for development.
They are selling the game on steam, as far as i'm concerned that's released, it's GaaS sure, but it's out there being sold for money.
I predict that next gen Microsoft will be services only and complaining that PlayStation and Nintendo won't allow them on their console much like they are doing with Apple.
