The sentiment that you speak is fair. And that would be fine except Microsoft is constantly talking about and downplaying Sony.
Microsoft is that one that keeps fueling the console war, Sony and Nintendo almost never talk about Microsoft but Phil can't open his mouth without saying something negative about Sony and even Nintendo sometimes.
If Microsoft would actually do their own thing instead of just trying to steal off Sony be it games or customers...
You may be right about them getting dev kits to market later, but there is no way they are releasing in 2-3 months if they can't show game play on the console at this point.
I'm certain the reason is because they are trying to push the narrative that the SX is is this super powerful console and more powerful than PS5 but it isn't, so they are using high powered PC's to mislead people to fulfill that narrative.

And at least Sony is showing their games on console and setting realistic expectations, which I strongly appreciate. Unlike Microsoft who is blowing smoke showing cinematic demo's on PC trying to trick people with messaging that makes it seem like everything is going to be 4k native 120 FPS with PC Ultra RT which obviously isn't true.
Nice try to downplay. But even if that was true they are giving players an option that gamers regardless of console have been asking for, for years.
That said I highly doubt it will be at the cost of resolution, it will likely be at the cost of RT which on PC polls have shown repeatedly that the majority of people turn off in exchange for FPS anyways.
You don't understand the money is in selling games and collecting royalties, that's why the hardware is so valuable.
You talk about game pass but there is no evidence that it's even profitable. Those games are being given away for pennies and they have to use that money not only to get new 3'rd party games but also pay for development. Even Greenburg admitted it's not very (if at all) profitable. Game Pass isn't sustainable if they have to subs...
Say what you will about the Doritos Pope he does at least know what a good game looks like. I feel like he is pro Sony because he appreciates the games they make. I think that he he has a bias it's more about the games than the hardware.
I think the reason is because SX will be identical to PS5 or such a small difference as to be unnoticeable so they are showing high power PC footage inorder to mislead people into thinking the console is more powerful than it is. Look at the original Halo demo then what they actually showed. People talk about downgrade but look at that and things like Crackdown. If you can trust one thing about Microsoft it's never to trust Microsoft.
For $20 you can go on amazon and buy a dongle that will convert the USB audio into Bluetooth. Now granted it would be better if it had native support but it's not like it's difficult to find a solution.
