It's shocking the way the internet allows people to just flat out lie then be amplified by a media that does zero fact checking of any sources and it many cases seems eager to damage the reputation of a certain persons or products.
You should try Uncharted Lost legacy or Horizon Frozen Wilds if you want to understand what expansion in the terms of Sony means. They are both complete games in their own right.
The larger discussion is whether people are losing confidence in Microsoft's ability to produce high quality complete games. And if the time frame in which anything of significance will be produced, especially when taken in context of their track record. Versus Sony's track record of releasing multiple GOTY quality games year after year.
"And I already said in my first comment here that it would onl...
I'm just going to assume you're just trying to play the middle ground... Because this answer really only shows an understanding of the most basic elements of the larger discussion.
What about undecided people and people who choose which console to get first based on games?
This seems like a very short sighted opinion, and lacks deeper understanding of the issues related to trust and confidence.
Yes obviously hardcore xbox fans are going to get the sx no matter what and PlayStation fans are going to get PS5 but there is always a huge group in the middle who look at things like this to decide what to choose.
Do you think Miles is the only factor here? In every topic that's all you talk about. Microsoft had one 1'st party game that they were even willing to show game play of. Sony in the launch window (which is considered to be until holiday 2021) Sony is likely to have launched nearly all the games they have shown so far.
So I think Little Big Planet and Ratchet and Clank will be released in early 2021 Horizon Forbidden West will be their big release later in the year...
Why would you think next year will be quiet? Sony has released at least 3 big budget games several smaller games and remasters and published a bunch of indies every year since 2015.
This year it was Dreams TLOU2 and Ghost and Spider-Man is coming. I predict that next year it will be Little Big Planet and Ratchet and Clank early and Horizon later in the year game and maybe GT also with Returnal and Demon Souls mixed in.
Obviously platform holders should have the right to govern and curate their platforms based on a set of guidelines so long as those guidelines are clearly made available to others who wish to use their services.
Wrong, they shouldn't have said anything about dates until they were relatively sure when the game would come out. I haven't seen anything other than the demo but if that was the most polished section of the game like they said and they want to make it look like an actual SX game it probably won't even release in 2021.
It's larger than just one game, it's about a company that constantly over promises and under delivers vs a company that says very little and consistently delivers products of the highest quality.
This is about more than just Halo, it's about how Microsoft does business vs how Sony does business the battlefield just happens to be Halo in this case.
Whether it's true or not that Halo is about graphics do you not see the conflict of interest in the way Microsoft is marketing SX as "the most powerful console" but their flagship game has 360 looking graphics?
Darth, it's not the only factor obviously. But do you think Sony is happy about Halo not making it at launch yes or no? If you answer yes then it's helping Sony.
Halo is clearly not the only deciding factor but it was one of them.
