What's with the hostility? Lol it's a rare game. It's not a crazy question to wonder how he originally got it. I was wondering too.
And to be honest, that sounds like a really strange game to be a child's first.
The only people that care about what gen consoles fall in are fans trying to justify numbers for whatever their favorite console is. The companies that make these consoles only care about what other consoles they have to compete with.
For instance, does anyone honestly think that Sony or Xbox is saying, "Man, Nintendo Switch is selling tons of consoles and potentially hurting the sales of our PS4 and Xbox One. Good thing the Switch is a 9th gen console, so its sales nu...
Well that's a bit crazy. They may not all be great, but there are usually one or two gems that are super cheap.
Divinity is nothing like Diablo. More like Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale.
1. There are war games where muslims are shown not to be terrorists. Sure, most war games taking place in modern times have you fighting Islamic terrorists. But that's because that is the most prevalent threat in the world right now. But no war game that I've ever played has outright called the terrorists Muslims either. Extremists, maybe. But they've never called out the particular Muslim religion like you claim. Also, most war games also have Islamic NPC'S that are not terro...
Wow...
For someone talking about not offending people you sure come off as a pretty big racist toward white people.
I didn't realize these games were predicting the end of the world.
I've never thought of zombies as necessarily having to be undead, slow, smelly and all that.
There are countless zombie movies from over the generations that have all different types of zombies. Some undead. Some slow. Some fast. Some smart. Some even able to talk. Some dumb. Some that eat flesh. Some that don't.
For instance, the zombies in the Night of the Living Dead series are the most well known types of zombies. In Return of the Living Dead ...
Zombies don't have to be undead. Like the term "mindless zombie". A zombie can be anyone that is no longer in control of their mind and are reverted to some base form of thought.
I get what you are saying about devs making money off of this stuff. The price of games hasn't gone up since the Xbox 360 game out. But where does it end? It used to be that Season Passes were about $20-$30 for content that would release over the course of many months. It could be anything from costumes and skins all the way up to weapons and extra missions.
But because people have been buying this stuff companies keep pushing the envelope to see how much they can get a...
"Games as a Service. Games as a Service."
How can you be okay with that? Paying full price for a game that may or may not get better over time. How is that okay?
How about charging $15 for the game at launch if they are only going to release 15% of a game? Then charge appropriately as more content becomes available. People may be more okay with that. But Games as a Service is total BS. They release an unfinished game for full price with the prom...
1. I did read it.
2. I never made a single mention of the article being wrong or right. I simply said the article was a waste of time and gave my opinion on the matter. I said that because anyone with half a brain can answer this and it's not even worth a debate. Yet here I am, finding myself in two debates over this, so go figure.
Although I'm not even sure what you are arguing with me about. You accuse me of not reading the article even though I gave no ...
CAN they be a waste a time and ARE they a waste of time are two completely different things.
CAN they be a waste of time implies that they have the potential to be bad.
ARE they a waste of time implies that they are never good and always a waste of time.
The question was, ARE they a waste of time. Anything CAN be a waste of time of not done in moderation. Nothing is good if it's over done.
But everyone needs enter...
No. But this article is.
Its no more a waste of time than watching TV, playing a sport for fun, or any other activities people do to entertain themselves.
The only time it's different is if you get paid to do one of those things. Then it becomes necessary to earn a living, so of course that isn't a waste of time.
I think you are putting too much emphasis on this site. Look at the reviews across the board. Its not just this site. All those games you mentioned getting high praise that you aren't impressed with? Those are all critically acclaimed games as well as fan favorites.
When the majority of people on this site, or any site, are giving the same feedback as reviewers and critics from other sources then it seems plausible that a game is widely considered to be either bad or g...
Suing people and going to jail are two different things. Let's get that straight right off the bat. They aren't charging this guy as a criminal. They aren't suing him for jailbreaking a console. They are suing him for jailbreaking many consoles then selling them. That's hardly the same thing.
They also aren't overcharging him. They are charging what they know he sold. He is actually getting away with more than they are asking for.
Rea...
They are being very fair over this.
1. The guy was selling these consoles through multiple channels, but Sony is only suing for the ones he sold through his website. So based off that alone they are probably still coming out of this holding the short end of the stick.
2. He was selling each console for $800 a piece. They are only suing for the price of the console and $200 per pirated game. He had 76 pirated games.
3. Aside from that th...
Good for you.
However, when all the reviews say the same thing then it clearly isn't just the people on this site giving hate. Its largely considered to be a bad game.
But that's okay. There are games I don't particularly like playing that I know are very good games, like The Last of Us. I just can't get into it, even though I realize it's a fantastic game all around. There are also games I have tons of fun playing that are probably le...
A lot of reviewers actually say that playing the campaign solo is the better experience.
This game's bad rep isn't a SP/MP issue. It's way more than that.
1. The game's design is just poor.
2. There is no interesting loot. It all looks the same and there is very little of it.
3. The gameplay gets boring quickly.
4. The enemies are terrible and uninteresting.
5. Severe lack of content with almost nonexis...
Because he got caught lying.
He said this was his dad's first game he ever owned. Then got all defensive saying "there are other ways to get one".
When you think about it that makes no sense. Why would someone that doesn't own any video games go out of their way to hunt down a rare game.....when they are a child, no less. No parent is going to go hunt down a rare game for their kid's first game either.
His story do...
