And how many of these controllers do you think they will actually sell?
If you think about it, the amount of money spent in R&D, employee salaries to develop, production, and the over $5.3 million is costs to run a 30 second commercial during the super bowl? All for a very niche product. I doubt making tons of money was really a big driving factor here.
"it’s the spending (a lot of) money to advertise in a market that’s already predominantly Xbox."
Um. In what world is the U.S. market predominantly Xbox? Last I checked Sony was outselling them there too.
Is that justification enough for you for MS to put out this ad?
Not only that but it isn't exactly common knowledge that MS even has this controller. So getting that out there in front of such a large audience while also...
It's a gaming site man. You know how toxic people can be online? Well a percentage of those people come to these sites also.
1. Many of them are kids/teenagers.
2. Many of them are just trying to be edgy, because that's what teenagers do.
3. Many of them are just hardcore fanboys that will downvote anything positive about the console they don't like, even when it's something totally positive like this.
4. Its N4G. A site that let...
I thought they did a very similar ad to this last year as well?
Maybe after a year or so after launch the Darkzone became good, but I remember it being a broken mess for a very long time. Everything from the awards you got to not being able to compete with people of a higher level. It was a disaster for a very long time. It was basically the main thing that people were complaining about for the entire 1st year of the game being released.
Why do you know the Darkzone will be good?
The Darkzone was a huge blemish on Division 1. I don't think they ever sorted it out completely. I know that after a year and half it still wasn't working in any satisfactory way.
To be fair I haven't read much about Division 2 so this is an honest question. Have they said what they are changing or doing to make it any better?
Oh man...yeah don't even get me started about AvP. Just the fact it was PG-13 was ridiculous, let alone the cheesiness.
Yeah. Romero's version of the film had some strange choices in it: Chris wasn't a member of STARS, but a farm boy. He was dating Jill who was a member of STARS and was keeping it a secret from Chris. She gets called off in the middle of the night to go investigate the Arklay Mountains. Chris follows her.
But still, overall it sounded much better than what that crap we got with Paul W S Anderson. At least Romero's film was a horror film that mostly took place in...
Because this is the world we live in nowadays. There are people that want to see things not exist at all if they don't like it, even though it's not hurting anyone by being there.
If people don't like achievements it literally does nothing to your gaming experience, so just ignore them. Is it that hard?
I didn't realize there was negativity around this game. I thought everyone felt pretty much the same about it and thought it was fantastic.
I like it better than Skyrim by a long shot.
Yep. I've loved DoA for a very long time, but DoA5 killed any interest I had because it was F2P. You got 2 characters with the game then every other character was $5 a piece. Such a joke...
@ Shikoku
Haha. There's no way you can possibly know that.
I would really like PS5 to be backwards compatible. And when I say that I mean true BC, like the original runs of the PS3. Just stick any PS2 disc in and it plays.
I was always disappointed with Xbox 360's halfassed BC where they only allowed certain games from last gen to be played. I can remember wanting Knights of the Old Republic to be playable on 360 but it took forever to become of the titles they loaded in, and even then it ran like garbage.
After reading the article I've gotta say that the writer is all over the place and contradicts himself several times. He mentions a couple times that the gear in MK11 is cosmetic only, like Injustice 2, but then he mentions a couple other times that the MK11 gear being cosmetic only is what makes it different than Injustice 2 lol.
Then, and this is the best part, he even includes a quote from a dev that says this:
"Definitely. One of the major di...
They haven't even announced the full roster yet. Not even close. They've only revealed like 6 or 7 characters. The only one behind a paywall right now is Shao Kahn because he comes with the Special Edition.
But generally Netherealm doesn't reveal their DLC characters until after the game has launched. So we won't really know what characters are paywalls until then. (Except Shao Kahn of course)
There was a little game called Dead Space that modernized survival horror long before RE2 Remake.
They sell new games for higher price than other places? That's insane. I've never heard of that.
In the US Gamestop's new games are $60 just like everywhere else.
Same here man. The combat system has always been the weakest parts of these games. But you're right, for some reason I enjoy it in the Mordor games.
And you can pretty much make whatever type of arrows you want for him.
Think about that dude. Xbox controllers already work on PC's. So I would expect this to work on PC's too. But I highly doubt MS would make a controller that works on the PS4 and Switch also.
Maybe some 3rd party company can copy it and make it fully universal, but expecting that from MS, Sony, or Nintendo is crazy.
