I haven't played the Beta, and don't plan to. I want to get the full effect of it when the game comes out.

However, I'm all about the Titan. Thats what I'm going with.

I agree. But i've been gaming for 28 years. Basically what i'm trying to say is that the force is strong with you.

Um...Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest games ever made.

Certainly on of the best Zelda games. If you ask most Zelda fans what their favorite Zelda game is, most will say this or Twilight Princess.

This guy is on mushrooms.

But...you're not paying more than the initial $60 to pre-order that AAA game that is "exploiting the popularity of the source material." You're just paying some a little early.

This is where people make mistakes in their arguments. You don't pay more to pre-order. The money you money you put down is going toward the game. They don't charge you a penny more.

And to be honest, i don't care about the extra content because its conten...

Im having a hard time seeing why pre-ordering is bad. This article fails to give any real reasons other than, "it helps retailers and publishers save money."

Again, i have a hard time understanding why thats a bad thing.

Rich people? Why is that? You aren't paying any more for the pre-order than you are for the game when it releases. Also, if you pre-order, you can slowly put smaller amounts of money down on it until it releases instead of paying the full $60 when it comes out.

But most importantly, like someone else said, if you have to be "rich" to pre-order in your mind, then maybe you shouldn't be playing video games at all. Check your priorities.

But it...

Lol FF3? That game came out when? Late 80's, early 90's? Don't sound so surprised that it lost its touch.

Try playing the later games in the series. Things were much different.

Like I said, no fans stopped playing FF games until they changed the fighting system. That isn't speculation, its fact. Its the only thing anyone needs to know when talking about whether or not a turn based fight system should make a return.

I haven't decided on a race but i'm going Titan for sure.

I've sworn off Final Fantasy games until they go back to the old turn based system.

I get that there is probably a crowd that likes this new real-time system but there's a way to fix that problem. Just switch fighting systems every other game. Make one game turn-based' then the next one real-time. The repeat. That way all the fans get what they want.

The bottom line is FF got so enormously popular based on the turn-based system. It didn't star...

Lol. "Mediocre".

I'll admit that Street Fighter is better as far as technicality, but Mortal Kombat is a damn fine game. Anyone that says otherwise is definitely in the minority.

And mediocre is a strong word. Thats like saying its "just okay", which is clearly not true at all. Its a much better quality fighting game than pretty much everything else out with the exception of SF.

I never get tired of zombies. And like someone else said, there has yet to be a really good, quintessential zombie game. Dying Light looks like it could take that title, but we'll see.

I usually dont buy them unless its something like Battlefield or Halo. Something that I know I'll come back to in between other games. Most games I just usually get tired of before the 2nd or 3rd DLC is released, so season passes usually aren't worth it for me.

Pre-Order Bonus: Pulse Rifle, Smart Gun, Flamethrower, Sonice Electronic Ball Busters, and Sharp Sticks.

The only argument I can really agree with that people make is the fact that sometimes when you buy a brand new game, gamestop has opened it and stored the disc in a drawer. I believe they only do this for the one case they put on the shelf for display, although I've never worked there so i can't say for sure. But I can understand the dislike of that. Anywhere you go, if a product is opened it is now considere used, not new.

Its nit a big deal to me, but I can underst...

This is true. It wasn't the co-op that ruined RE5. It was the fact that the AI for the other person was completely idiotic and broken. You couldn't give your partner any guns or they would just blast away all of your ammo like they had a truckload of it.

I got through by equipping my partner with a stun baton. She would just run up and hit zombies and stun them for me to shoot. But she was still stupid and get stuck on things, run in crazy directions, and even run in...

I knew all of these but they are still interesting.

It always made me mad that Romero wrote a movie that was close to the game but it got scrapped. Now we got stuck with crappy movies that only people who don't play the games like, for the most part. Kind of ironic.

Well, looks like the hand is on the other foot now, eh?

First of all, this guy is clearly biased. I can guarantee that he has never traded in a "new" game for $4. Especially since Gamestop always has some kind of trade in deal going on. I've traded in games for years and if they are new, you can usually trade in 2 games for one new one, or at least knock off enough of the price to where you only have to pay $10 or so. I gueas it depends on what his definition of "new" is.

Also, i guess he missed the part wh...

If you've downloaded the free games every month, then yes, its worth it. $10 a month for free games that cost more than that individually? Yeah. Its worth it.
