I dont know if you played Soulcaliber 5, but theydid something similar to this. They brought in the children of a lot of fan favorite characters, except they completely removed the popular characters.
While it was kind of cool, and the new characters definitely had a lot of the original's moves, the also had different moves mixed in, which made them much different than a lot of people's favorite characters. So yeah, i'm glad they are keeping the "parents"...
Considering that Liu Kang, Jax, and Sonya are listed as members of the white lotus and Special Forces factions, they are pretty much confirmed.
And if they are confirmed, then Johnny Cage isn't far behind considering he is one of the few characters to survive the last game.
Erron Black and Shinnok are the only two that havent been hinted at, but they are definitely strong possibilities.

It makes no sense. Any reasonable person will play their first run through without worrying about trophies, just to experience the game. Then, if they feel the need, they can go back through and trophy hunt. This isn't rocket science and it only makes games less enjoyable for those that let it.

But the Vex is extremely strong and has a much higher rate of fire. If the person using it is strafing and moving like they should, then they shouldn't have trouble dealing with handcannons.

I love Hard Light.
People complain about the stability, but if you take the time to upgrade the gun and get the two stability upgrades, then it maxes it out.
Its a fantastic gun. It could stand to do a little more damage, but the rate of fire makes up for that.
I love it in Crucible. Its my main weapon.
I really hope this game delivers.
Its just oozing potential. I hope its what everyone thought Destiny would be. Dont get me wrong, i still love Destiny and still play it daily ever since launch, but this? This just looks and sounds so amazing.

So i rewatched the trailer, and looked for Punisher at .52, and holy crap you were right. That dude totally looked like Punisher.
It can't be him because he's owned by Marvel comics and Batman is owned by DC. So its literally impossible. Plus the skull on this dude's shirt is more generic looking than the Punisher's.
But i can definitely see how people that dont follow comics would have confused that guy with Punisher. Black clothes, black hai...
I think what this means is that they are widening the area of the beams. Like when you shoot a fusion rifle and it kicks up, or if you are turning, you can see multiple beams coming off of it. You only do full damage if the full beam hits your target, soif they widen the spread of the beams then it should make it harder to land a full fusion rifle beam on an enemy, which would make them do less damage.
Thats how i read it anyway.
If they would make Pulse Rifles a viable choice i would happily use them. I actually really like them, they just don't do enough damage.
Hooefully this patch will help them out.
