Out of curiosity, if TLoU isn't a masterpiece, what games do you consider to be masterpieces?
The reason it got perfect scores is because it deserved them though. Why? Because it actually is a masterpiece. It didn't deserve 9's. The vast majority of gamers last gen agree, and even some from this new gen that played the remastered edition that might have missed it the first time around.

You should check out Marvel Superheroes. Its easily my favorite one, by far. Lego Batman 2 and 3 are also great. But you really cant go wrong with any of them.
I've played through every Lego game with the exception of the Lego Movie Game. I can honestly say that none of them are terrible. Sure, some are better than others, just like any game series, but again, i've never finished one and thought it was terrible.

It would definitely be a contender for game of the year for me. I'm not blind. I recognize many of its faults. But no game in my memory has kept me playing daily for over 6 months on end. Not a single one.
Destiny is flawless in the gameplay department and it provides one of the most satisfying co-op experiences of all time. Its incredibly fun to play with friends. I mean, there are still literally millions of people logging on every day. Thats something special.
Why do some of those characters all have to go? If they all play differently then what does it matter?

How about real transformations?
Tenkaichi 2 and 3 had every character's transformation. Even all of Cell and Frieza's forms. And once you transformed into them, you could stay in those forms as long as you wanted. I really dislike that Kaioken and Super Saiyan are the only transformations you can use in match, and not only that, but they are lowered down to nothing more than temporary stat boosts.
Also, the dash system in Xenoverse is wonky. In Tenkai...
"Slow, chunky, and doughy" is the last thing Hard Light is.
It has one of the highest rates of fire for AR's. It holds something like 43 rounds in the mag. And after its two stability upgrades its fairly accurate, even at range. I was shocked at how far away i was able to kill people with it. Its a very nice gun in PvP. It could stand to do a bit more damage per round, but the high rate of fire somewhat makes up for that. Hard Light is good. Dont listen to the nonsense. It sucks when you first get it because its stability is garbage. But it has two stability upgrades that almost max it out. Then its very nice.

Yeah man, thise "spend this amount of money, get something for this tiny amount of money" sales are crap. I never do those. They put plenty of good games on sale for super cheap all the time. There's no reason to spend all that.

Also, a new Rogue Squadron would tickle my fancy. Or maybe something similar but with both a Rebellion and Empire campaign. I would love to play an Empire based Rogue Squadron type game. Being able to use all those different TIE's would be sweet.
