I decided its not even worth arguing with these people. They hate on SoW and haven't even played it themselves. They listened to a bunch of non-sense spread by people who hadn't even played the game BEFORE the game even released. Then they have the sack to call people like you, me, opinionated, and anyone else that enjoys this game sheep. I suppose they don't see the irony there. They acted on something that someone else said, without experiencing it themselves. How is THAT not be...

I can see that, for sure. I would want this to be Season 1, then end with the STARS getting assigned to investigate. Then Season 2 and 3 would be faithful adaptatiins of RE 1 and 2. But that would never happen.

I have to agree with aarogree. It doesn't say they FOUND a cure. Only that they are looking for one. And honestly, why wouldn't they? Also, if it was set to follow the video games story then we know there is no cure.

Again, for me it just depends on how well it sticks to the game's lore. This is a good starting point for the "bizarre" murders and people being attacked by groups of "people" and being torn apart and eaten which leads the STARS ...

I don't care about loot crates as long as they aren't there to make you pay real money. If RNG is the way the game gives you gear and in-game currency, I'm fine with it.

Unfortunately those games are few and far between. Destiny does a good job. You can kind of think of Engrams as loot crates that you earn. There is no reason to spend real money at all in that game. I believe the new WWE game has loot boxes, but there is supposedly no MT system to even allow you...

Its just that the exotics in general are pretty underwhelming this time. There are a handful of good weapons. Most of the armor is worthless unless you use a specific subclass.

So that right there makes him bad enough, because most of the stuff he sells will be garbage. Also, exotics are way too easy to get just from playing the game, and his exotics max out at 276, or something like that, so you still have to canabalize things to strengthen them. Also, the fact that they t...

This sounds interesting. It sounds like the lead up to the beginning on the original Resident Evil game. Bizarre murders taking place in the Arklay mountains is what led the STARS team to head up there and investigate.

This definitely sounds better than most of those terrible "prequel" shows like Gotham or Smallville. Those shows take way too many liberties and just screw u the story. I get the argument of those shows taking place in alternate timelines, or that t...

You should invest in a rubber mat to place inside your shower. This will add the extra traction you require to not fear death while taking a shower. They even make them in stylish designs. It is well worth the investment. Because if not, you could be paying a much higher price: your life.

Maybe where younlive PSOne and PS2 games were cheaper than NES games. But in the U.S. they were the same. $50.

3165d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

NES games were $50 and that was back in the 80's. I think its quite reasonable to be charging $60 20 years later.

I don't know why yo guys are getting disagrees. You are 100% correct.

Back in the NES days games were actually pretty short, if you were good enough to play through in one sitting. (Many games didn't even have save functions or codes to pick up where you left off, so one sitting was all you had sometimes.)

MOST NES games could have been beaten in an hour or so. But they were also ridiculously hard and took an eternity to master, and some were stil...

Games in the U.S. were always $50, going all the way back to the original NES days. They went up to $60 when Xbox 360 came out.

Can't complain though. Almost 30 years there has only been one price hike. Thts pretty damn good!

3166d ago 2 agree4 disagreeView comment

But at the same time, the $60 price is 100% decided by the company. There are definitely games that release for less, like the Lego games. They are generally $50 when they launch.

So it is interesting that $60 is a price that MOST companies decide to stick to.

DEEEEAAAAAAAAD! ITS ALL DEAD!

Those games don't count, apparently.

Not too shabby for a crowd funded game made by a small studio!

Best CRPG of all time. They totally deserve this and should be proud of what they made!

@ Steven83r

Is there some shortage of new games for the current gen consoles that I'm not aware of?

I also have been gaming since the 80's. Guess what? Most people don't still have their consoles from back then. Bringing back retro games, or even remastering newer games do NOT keep brand new games from being made. Its been proven time and again. Almost all the remasters that have released this gen have had brand new sequels/prequels/spin offs...

You answered your own question when you said you realize there is a very vocal group of gamers who love retro titles.

If you realize that then why are you questioning it?

Also, if you don't want to play retro games then don't play them. Enjoy the games you enjoy and let others enjoy what they want. Be happy that Nintendo is catering to all types of gamers.

I really don't see the point of this.

This is a very good article.

I have to agree though. Anonymous reviews from "emplyees" are simply that. ANYONE can go post those reviews. 50 total reviews, 24 are mixed, of those, 11 are 2 star reviews and 7 are 1 star reviews.

Its just hard to take accusations like this seriously when they are coming from faceless, anonymous sources. If these people were to come out and make these accusations then they would hold a lot more weight.

People complain about microtransactions and loot boxes, which can definitely be a terrible practice, but these types of games were the true cancer of gaming. This, Skylanders, and Disney Infinity. You pay close to $100 for a starter pack with minimal content then $13 for every other single character you wanted, and even more for content packs.

What a joke.

I would pretty much give my 3rd nut for this.
