Well it made a big enough splash that big devs are adding BR modes to their games. This is where things will get interesting and all kinds of new ideas will be added.....hopefully.
There's something really fun about being a villain though. I love in RPG's when you finish a quest for someone that involves getting a good item. Giving the item to the quest giver, getting their reward, then killing them and taking the item from the quest anyway.
The problem with that logic is that you have no idea, or any way of knowing how many people complaining about EA are also buying their games....
Just because you see a bunch of people complaining on N4G or other sites means nothing. People commenting on message boards are the minority. Just because you see a bunch of people here complaining means nothing. The sales are what matters, and the majority of sales are made by people that aren't coming here posting messages.

Because it's one of the best games ever made and is still extremely fun? Yeah, I can't imagine why people still like to play it either......
Venom isn't a big bad.
Big bads are characters at the top of the ladder pulling all the strings. They are the ones with the master plans of taking over cities or planets.
Venom isn't any of that.
Eddie Brock and the symbiote just both hate Spider-Man and have gone out of their way to kill him. But even that is because they both feel that Spider-Man/Peter Parker wronged them. But other than Spidey, Venom has almost always been an...
@yeahright2
Yeah, but there were still 2 games and it was still a popular enough franchise to spawn an MMO. Doesn't really matter who made them.
And what do you mean they didn't finish it? There are 2 complete KOTOR games.
There were 2 KOTOR games......
And their popularity spawned the MMO.
Yeah....Kokyu has a point.
In games like Mass Effect where relationships are a choice made by the player, you can't really blame the developers. They aren't forcing it on anyone. If your character does gay things it's because you made your character do gay things.
Jesus.....
Trophies are not indicative of how well you are progressing or whether you are doing things right or wrong.
I play through games and don't bother with trophies. Then, if the game was good enough for me to want to keep playing after finishing it, then I will go back and work on trophies.
Man....Persona 5 is still $50 with this discount. That's weak.....
You sound educated.
Relationships are nothing new in video games. No one seems to care or argue when games show a hetero relationship. Yet a game comes out with a gay relationship and everyone loses their minds. No one blames hetero characters kissing as being shoved in their faces, or pushing some kind of agenda. Face it, gay relationships are real and have become a normal part of society. This isn't the 50's anymore.
Side missions in open world games rarely add anything to the main story. That's why they are called side missions and not story missions...
I'm not sure why you got all these disagrees. Nothing you said was fanboyish and it's all facts. Those are all reasons to want cross play.
For me, the only one I really care about is playing with friends that don't have a PS4. I have 2 good friends that own Xbox Ones and I have a PS4. I would like to play games with them too, but can't.
Yeah...optional. But will you be able to get EVERYTHING in-game that you can get from buying the toys?
Also, if it's so optional, then why is there only one version that costs $75 and comes with the toys?
Why does this game have to have the stupid toys as a part of the customization? They just want more money.
This game looks awesome. It's too bad it had to get caught up in the Disney Infinity-like nonsense.
Well they didn't have a character creator until Soul Calibur 3, so I would imagine it would still be doing quite well considering people love the characters in Soul Calibur.
Because, believe it or not there are people with friends that own different systems than them. Those friends would like to play games together. This isn't rocket science.
You don't speak for me. So maybe stop acting like you are the voice of all PS fans. You aren't.
You also don't get to decide what makes someone a PS fan.
I am a Playstation fan. I own a PS4 and a Switch (mostly for my daughter). But even I can see that not including cross play is not the best decision.
It may not effect me personally, as I don't play any of the games that are in the spotlight right now about this. But th...
With all the licensing effort it takes to make an MvC game you are probably right.
Which sucks because people love MvC. Bad decisions were made with the last one, that's all. But I guarantee if they made a new MvC and put a good roster in with 3 man teams and no easy mode combos then people would go right back to it.
Unfortunately, most companies won't be willing to make another sequel as soon as the latest title flops. Even though MvC Infinite w...
