What if we didn't compare it to the 360 version? What if just looked at it as a game and compared it to generally accepted current gen performant games? Well, doing this, the frame rate is still rubbish (this is probably my biggest grip). The colours are still washed out. And the game still generally performs badly.
The panning over the clock at the beginning of the video was just horrible.

I think the excitement will come from the story, the suspense created in each scene and the character interaction. It won't be from guns, explosions and blood.
I guess it's just a matter of taste. I can see that not every reviewer will like this game but some will. For that reason I predict it will average an 8

I completely agree with that. Games like ODST are "good" (7) and not great (9). How anyone game that game a 9 is beyond me......anyway, topic is Assassins Creed........
I have a few points:
The game reviewed pretty well.
The content is definitely mature.
I think "proper" hardcore gamers wouldn't have bought the wii anyway.
From a "real life" perspective, my friend has this game and absolutely loves it. He has no problem with the on-rails nature of it.
I guess I don't understand what the real problem is. For the most part the wii buyers really ARE a different demographic to PS3 and 360 buyers so ...
to look at the UK chart. It's FIFA at number 1, closely followed by PES at number 1 and the Football Manager at number one. *yawn*
It also saddens me to see Uncharted that far down. Why hasn't everyone bought this yet? Why is Forza still selling better?
