4K or no, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor will still look underwhelming. Can't believe how drab they made so many areas look.
@kneon
Alright. Still applicable to the Original Star Wars Trilogy and that central point of my first response still stands. You can't hand-wave a plethora of unanswered stuff away with "just pony up another $60 to get the full story." That's egregious.
@Red_Renegade
Sure, he's out of The Order. That's A part of the story. What about everything else? Lady Igraine, The Rebels, The Order, or the main antago...
@ziggurcat
"its ending was clearly a set-up for the next game, I think they even said before the game launched that they intended it to be a triology. understanding that, there should be no reason to be upset with the ending."
That's a godawful excuse to the point of corporate apologia. Having a trilogy in mind doesn't mean you get to use your first game purely as a means establishing everything w/out any sense of finality. Fellowship ...
"a supposedly big franchise"
You mean a spin-off series of a supposedly big franchise? This series has consistently hovered around 2 million+ mark (total) and this number outperforms Forza Horizon 2's (XOne and X360) first week sales by ~65k.

They had that Inglorious Basterds-like trailer years back, but was discreetly canceled soon thereafter. There'd always murmurs of a new one setting SGT. Baker and co. closer to the end of the war.
That's to be expected when you don't get a proper ending though.
Sure thing? Keep in mind: "ignorant" =/= stupidity. I just genuinely think you don't know, or recall, the uphill climb DONTNOD's been through in having female protagonists in their games.

Then you're more than likely ignorant of what DONTNOD's been through in simply trying to develop games with female protagonists.
Do you mean McCaffrey, IGN, or both? :P
1.) Actually, most swear words fully written out will get marked accordingly. Shit/Shitty is one of those terms that's okay to use unless used as a personal attack. In this sort of context, it's fine.
2.) I'm not sure what you determine as "casual insults," but we don't take kindly when you resort to name-calling other users on here. You have instances of this on record, both against a group of people and individuals.
If you take ...
Actually, Oxenfree's initial release date was January 15th of this year so it just squeaks in. That was for PC and XOne, PS4 version release ~6 months later.
I also talked about it in my first 'nifty bits (2016)' blog a few months back. http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...
Much appreciated. :)
I don't know...over time UC4's glimmer wore off on me a bit. It's still a great send-off but I'm on the fences of it in the running for a GOTY nomination; then again, the only two (thus far) that've blown my socks off are INSIDE and Oxenfree.
"...but things are definitely hotting up for Xbox One."
How in the world did that get through? Anyways, the list itself is kinda expected but fair. There's the string of big titles, the hardware improvements, etc.
I hope everyone enjoy this two-part blog. Feel free to leave any comments and/or questions below. Are there any you can think of that I've left out? What games released between June 1st-September 30th (with caveats listed in Part 1) can you think of that had nifty bits of design? I haven't played all of them so I hope to see some other ones. :D
I don't know...past the fangs, the rotting skin, and their insatiable desire to consume your flesh, there's still something adorable about them. :P
It takes some radical car-inspired design to not have a Xbox One with a VCR type of outer shell.
Do want!
Isn't it funny that this would be the first XJuan iteration that didn't have a plain box shell? :P
Probably the most under-appreciated COD in the entire series. Better balancing in this kind of class system (MP) than what's come from later iterations of the killstreak template.
You see? And people thought Respawn was just going to leave those behind. ;)
@bouzebbal
Actually, you don't really have to pretend you think you know when you can go see reactions to its success back then.
