Technically, it was the second Avatar game (The Burning Earth).
I can't blame you. Legend of Korra's one of my favorite current TV shows and seeing that getting treatment from Platinum (even at arcade/downloadable level) sounds awesome.
That's a lot of content to tackle for that many writers. Nice going, fellas. Can't wait for July!
"Yes, there will be free games, gift cards and hugs given out every single day during July."
You won't have much luck hugging me, I'm afraid.

You're not the only one.
Oddly enough, I went ahead and bought this around the time you replyed. :P
I've see that stange screenshot for years but never botered to ask what game that was from. Definately going to check this one out.
Interesting. I'd say my least favorite would be Drake's Fortune. I can see what you mean about everything past the ship level. The variety was awesome before and throughout those levels, but not quite so after that. And it's definately after that part the writing does a pretty thorough job of copy+pasting.
Still other things I admired though: the combat arenas were more open with different ways to tackle enemies.
Thanks for your input. :)
Wow...forgot this was coming out so soon. Can't wait to try it out.
Havne't played TSOT but I've seen and/or heard great things about it. The problem I typically have with licensed games is how they think just stapling on a typical formula without little consideration of how that works in the source material's context. Spiderman 2, a lot of Star Wars games, and the Batman Arkham series have mechanics that feel right and show great inspiration by the devs.
Then when you look at the Ghostbusters by Digital Extremes, which looks an...
Hope everyone enjoyed the review. Please feel free to leave your comments and/or questions below.
It certainly was a shock for me to go back and notice a bunch of things that continually annoyed me. It's not as though they weren't there (especially for gameplay), but rather just conceded to some problems and left feeling enthusiatic over the more Drake-focused story here. Feel free to share any titles you've enjoyed less or more after looking at it with fresh...
Same here. Very excited to see how it works.
Actually, Sam Lake said we'll get our first look at the mechanics (like live demo) at this year's Gamescom.
I think that's what Diego's trying to point out with the "Final Truth" bit mentioned above, as if hinting at being "more objective" or something like that.
I can see where he's coming from, but maybe it's a reference to the game. I don't know.
I may like it more than most if that's the case. But we'll wait and see.
I still think AC1 is rather underrated by what I typically see from the general public.
I haven't been this moved since Jaden gave the world the understanding that most trees are blue.
Even if failing to reach such absurd hype still gets a great score here, sounds like it's a solid game.
Same here. Those look like such promising games.
Yeah, that demo was an awesome to showcase (or not showcase?) what it's all about. The kind of genre that fits in with would be called a walking simulator. Like Dear Esther, Proteus, etc., only there's greater player agency in the variety of choice presented here.
Still need to play Journey.
Interesting list--though I haven't played most listed. I personally think Papers, Please and The Stanley Parable would be among my favorites.
The show's basically the most "anime-y" western cartoon out there (from its inspiration to style) anyways so it's not that out there.
