I think what most people fail to realize (as illustrated in your comment) is that PS3 versions of games have started showing up with much higher resolution textures than their 360 counterparts. While the PS3 makes use of massive textures to achieve that "next gen" look, they 360 uses smaller files and ahieves a similiar look with anti-aliasing and some post processing effects.
THEY'RE NOT THE SAME and anyone that has seen both upclose will tell you the PS3 version always looks...

Id like to make a point to all my fellow PS3 owners out there. Don't be too harsh on the younger 360 fans. They are children and don't know any better. after I got my first PS3 I said right away "expect Sony to pass the 200 million console mark with this one and don't be surprised to see it be the first console to reach 300 million". ITS THAT GOOD OF A CONSOLE.

I have no particular love for Sony, they just happened to make the most powerful console this generation. Apparently fans of the other console couldn't handle being bested.
I work with this stuff all the time and am used to seeing hi-def graphics. MLB08 literally made my jaw drop, family member thought I was watching a baseball game on TV, it looks that good.

sega and nintendo didn't fall to a cheaper less powerful PS2, they couldn't compete with the lineup of games it had. This time around Sony is leaving no doubt about who is the best at this business and making sure they take GRAPHIC CROWN for this generation too.
IMO Remedy is stuck trying to push Wake's graphics through the 10mb of EDram the 360 is limited to. Expect a cancellation of this title for the 360.
you're a moron, the rsx was put in to help developers get games up and running right away while they learned the cell. The added bonus is that when the rsx is used in conjunction with the cell it creates a tremendous rendering pipeline. That being said you can EASILY just use the RSX as a rasterizer with the cell handling the graphical calculations.
