what you are seeing is an attempt at goading Sony into firing back at microsoft for all the negative campaigning they have done against the PS3 and then taking the high road in an effort to make them look bad. microsoft like so many of their most rabid followers seem to miss one point when talking about not "hyping" games up. Hype, is actually good.It builds interest in a game and for those that don't realize it interest = market. What's the use of launching unannounced titles? Who would be anticipating them? MS would have to redesign their data caches for bluray drives if they wanted to use it for gaming which = never happen unless they want to alienate their "28" million userbase. At the same time they have NO next gen storage format. OF course the quick and easy answer to this has been "digital downloads are the future, bluray is a waste of time".

a quad core pc with 4gb of DDR3 ram and a 8800GTX and still think Killzone matches and even surpasses Crysis on many levels. BTW I can run Crysis at 16QXX at around 15-20 fps. Not great but my machine is no slouch either.

you miss Fantasy Star is that while Crysis is an incredible game in and of itself, the hardware it runs on to it's full capacity is a RARITY. Meaning very few people are willing to build the rig it would take to run all those settings maxed at playable framerate. It would most likely be a dual or quad SLI setup meaning you would need to buy 4 top of the line graphics cards. action bastard, the difference here is that last gen Sony went up against Sega and crushed them based on pure brand quality alone. Once the market started adjusting to the realiztion that the PS2 was a FARRR better console than the dreamcast it was game over. a long time ago, one can go on the official playstation forums and find this information. They only use master accounts, not sub accounts. I didn't know so many people were not aware of this.
