Saying nintendo's support will continue to come to 3ds even though its already successful. Obviously support will come to the platform in dying need of it (wii u).
Why did you buy a console with no games you wanted, and why were you shortsighted enough to sell it too?

right now they are at a little less than 8 million together most likely, and a lot of that was launch hype. I don't see enough next-gen exclusive content coming this year to get anywhere near 33 million together, and that's assuming they wouldn't have trouble producing that much hardware.
I still expect it to sell 20-40 million units within the next 5-6 years. They bought exclusives to a lot of the top series in japan (SMTxFE, monster hunter, dragon quest, dynasty warriors...) so that market is pretty much at its max potential. Europe and NA are the ones to focus on. I think more japanese games will make it over after seeing most of them sell better in NA anyway.

Well, you chose to believe an anonymous source over almost half a dozen named developers. If that isnt a predilection to a source supporting your opinion regardless of quantity or reason, what is it. And it was only 3 days ago, only bringing it up because you seem to think you arent even PARTIALLY justified to some as a "hater" (to me no, only sometimes). And even if they do make exclusives, its often evident from capcom and platinum's offerings that the hardware can be utilized...

Im not a shareholder, im a customer. I dont care what money iwata made 5 years ago, because i feel disatisfied as a customer. I think the guy has no clue what to do with the wii u.
1. Hes making what's in line to become the least successful home console nintendo's made. I dont care what he did years ago, think in the now.
2. Thats because there were NO games out, i think they sold like 230,000 in 10 months, losing the support of some major retailers. Thats awful.
Sony: 6 losses, 12 profits
Microsoft: 8 losses, 5 profits
Nintendo: 2 losses (assuming they will post a loss this FY of course), 30 profits
"Financial ruin" pffft. In 2008 and 2009 combined they made almost 10 billion. Im not kidding look this up.
Killing the wii u would make lose all interest in its successor as a wii u owner.
I agree that things should change, but financial ruin? Sony and MS were losing loads more, especially last gen.
1.6 million copies sold and still in the top 20 on japan and american charts. Also helped sell 500k wii us in december. 3D world was successful, just not as much as people hoped.
Theyd be better off riding the wii u off than abandoning their fanbase and releasing a new console midway through the gen when everyone already happy with a ps4 or xbone.
I can see why the investors are reluctant to ask iwata to go, as hes produced nothing but enormous financial success for the past 10 years (until now that is).
