@disagrees
Eh... which one flopped...? Even Wars probably made its money back.
Its like the Saturn.
Can hold its own in Japan, outside of Japan its basically a niche product with a cult fanbase begging for localizations.
I dont want to judge it before i get it. Most of the scores have been pretty good.
I think the warriors games are starting to slow in popularity. Even relative to the install base the game has not done well in japan. It might be just over 100k.
Hey, the oldest person in history (122 years) said one of her secrets was eating 2 pounds of chocolate a week. Like i said they always say something interesting lol...
Lol you always get interesting answers out of old people.
I did some volunteer work at a retirement home years ago, and there was a 103 year old woman there of sound mind, and i asked her how she made it so long and she said "good wine and good sex".
I like the gamepad, the way it feels is fine and the streaming is nice, but its implementation in games is lacking. Every game released and to be released fails to justify it, except fatal frame which isnt announced for the west yet. Zombi U also did an okay job.
SM3DW- forced to P1 for basic puzzles
Pikmin 3- inferior controls and a map
MK8- map
Smash- NFC
DK- nothing at all
Splatoon- admittedly neat map and gyro
Xenoblade X- ...
It would seem kind of weird for them to go back to the GC controller. I think the pro controller with analog triggers would be logical progression.
I've yet to be as scared or immersed in a portable horror game as much as a console one.
I didnt even know this came out! This is one reason for me to get an xbone.
These companies are more concerned about making a profit than coming in any place. For example the Xbox outsold the Gamecube by 3 million, but lost way more money than the GC did. Im sure Nintendo preferred "third place" with meager profits to "second place" with financial failure.
Also although the 360 ended up third last gen, im sure MS considers it a success for halving sony's strangle hold of the market. Its just too bad they failed to continue tha...
Usually if you compare them side by side you can see a lot of difference.
Like TW101 for example looks a million times better compared to its announcement trailer.
This game looked rough but most of us thought it was out this year, knowing it has another year in development gives some perspective.
@jay
While i dont agree with him totally, the gamepad and pro controller both only have digital triggers.
Might have to rewatch twin peaks now lol
Safe to say no one saw this coming
Nintendo's advertising the Vita more than Sony is at this point :P
No, actually nintendo fanboys (corrected you there) believe nintendo games deserve perfect reviews.
Realists actually understand skyward sword isn't a 9.5/10.
Not trying to downplay xbone's japan fail but the PS3 outsells the PS4 and Wii U some weeks too.
" We grew up looking at muddied polygons and walking to school in the snow until our legs were bloody stumps, and we loved every minute of it!"
The funny thing is they probably won't. The audience for this game is mostly kids that don't even know what resolution is.
Doesn't make it right for the dev to be lazy, but i doubt this will heavily impact the sales of the Wii U version.
Troll much, man :/ i can't believe 6 people agreed.
I mean its common knowledge that the Wii U doesnt pre-date the 360/ps3. Its not even two years old. If you're talking about the specs you're wrong, too. Most of the hardware is custom made, and its already producing visuals beyond what the PS3/360 could do even after years of optimization. Not saying it's a powerhouse, but it ain't an Atari.
The real reason its probably a low resolution i...
Not sure why people disagree. Im not jeering, like the saturn the vita has some good games (actually more than the saturn id say). Im just saying the sales split between the two consoles are similar, in that the vita is simply not getting the sales it deserves in part due to a lack of localization for all the software in japan.
