Actually according to cboat MS is money hatting the crap out of Platinum for this game. Like Bayonetta 2, if the game flops it wont affect Platinum whatsoever financially. Platinum is an independent studio so as long as companies are funding projects for them, they're fine.
Also Platinum's games (excluding bayonetta 1) never tend to do well in Japan anyway.

Would you call the character development in RE4 good? Its non existent. And that was the best game ever according to a lot of publications when it came out.
As for the voice acting, i think sebastion's understated reaction to everything adds to the cheese factor. It clashes with the uber serious tone of the game but it reminds me of the old survival horror games.
The gameplay, challenge, and atmosphere are all excellent...
The xbox one is selling very well right now due to the boost from third party games. The wii u has to wait til smash bros for numbers anywhere near that good.
The gap grew from may-august but all the progress the wii u made over the xbone in that time was completely negated in the past month in favor of xbone.

I would say the majority of girl gamers that arent on mobiles are only socially interested in games that are popular like gta and COD. There are not many passionate and interested in the industry, like i am. So they only deserve as much disdain as i give any other casual gamers lol.

Saying a game is overrated before it comes out is hating.
Saying a game is good, maybe even a GOTY contender, based on reviews is admittedly prejudiced but at least has some credence.
I liked a lot of games this year like DKCTF, MK8, Evil Within, etc. but none of them are really potential GOTY contenders.
I would say its between Bayonetta 2 and LBP 3, maybe sunset overdrive if its really good

This game isnt perfect but this is way better than the setpiece simulator that is dead space 2. The structure for the dead space games is awful. Every now and then someone gets on the radio and spews some technobabble, then you go into subsector x1 and refuse bio-generator B. Rinse and repeat. Obviously alive body strewn here, health packs in every nook and cranny.
Dead space 1 i can praise as a good "starting point", but the sequels i cant praise for failing to evo...

Reviews are stupid, i would never buy based on reviews. For example Evil Within just came out and im enjoying the crap out of it, even though reviews reflect that it is not for everyone.

Some of Halo 3's features are vastly under praised. I think the resolution took a hit to 640p so that every match was recorded and saved to the HDD which was a huge deal back then. Also the forge mode alone was worth the price. Tons of racing, sports, endless map variety to play on. I remember spending an entire weekend with friends trying to get that sandbox skull. Good times.
I am no longer pre ordering games. Im sick of being screwed over by the buggy launches and underwhelming delivery that have characterized this gen thus far. No one say its my fault for "giving into the hype of gamers", this hype was perpetuated by Bungie in every dev video theyve released in the past 2 years.
That game still looks good at 480p (upscaled via the VGA adapter) and 60fps. I'd argue the dreamcast games that support VGA clean up better than most ps2 games do via component.

I just got the 360 version and im blown away by how good it looks for last gen. I was just about to say this is one of the best games to show off idtech 5. Did not hear about the performance issues on current gen though :/
Article is misleading because they made Dead Rising 2 which was multiplat among other games. They have effectively "been" multiplat.
As i played Infinite multiple times i grew to hate it more and more. I dont think ive ever had such a drastic difference in opinion for a game in a year.
