Or, hey, a new IP
I agree with Lord. You can't really judge budget titles like Murdered Soul Suspect and Sniper Elite 3 on the same level as AAA games.
You're just mad the xbox one has 6 funs per second.
I got a PS4 in september, but i feel a little disappointed. Infamous SS was pretty good, but i beat that in a matter of weeks and it doesn't have much replayability. I put about 20 hours into Destiny and wasn't too impressed before i sold it to get Evil Within, which was okay. Then Drive Club and Unity came out in half-baked states and i decided to hold off on those until they were patched.
The big title that i felt would justify my PS4 purchase was LBP 3, and it coul...
Agreed. Sony localizes almost all of their games, they even sometimes do third party ones.
Nintendo should localize Fatal Frame and Rodea since other companies arent confident americans want those games
I really liked Pearce's story and found it funny.
Too bad both sides of the GG debate had to twist it into something more than it was and she had to deal with BS because of it. But we live in an era where jokes cannot be made and dealing with problems yourself is condemnable :/
There's an HD remake of No More Heroes on the PS3 and 360. The PS3 version supports Move (honestly NMH is way more fun with motion controls, take those away and it loses all kinesthetic appeal).
The sequel remains a Wii exclusive though.
This is an opinion piece, it expresses the author's opinion that it was the console to have.
I kind of agree. The only thing on PS4 i was truly in love with was LBP3. Everything else was decent to mediocre. I cant speak for the xbone as i dont own it. But on Wii U we had DKCTF, MK8, Bayonetta 2, Smash.. even little games like Capt. Toad, Hyrule warriors or NES Remix were pretty good.
Wow, a 3 million lead for the xbone. This console is far from doomed. It doesnt need to beat the PS4 to be considered successful. The 360 was of course plagued with shortages its first year, but it was also plagued with the RROD so these figures are record high for an Xbox console's first year.
@LOL_WUT
Publicity stunt? They can't talk about the quality of their software? If they have an argument in their favor, they should make it. If they stay quiet about the positives of their console, it'll NEVER sell.
And yeah, like i said below the 2013 drought killed the console, perhaps for good. Still doesn't invalidate the quality of the 2014 games.
I think it should just be a natural evolution of the pro controller. That thing has vastly superior battery life than any other controller and its only real flaw is the lack of a headphone jack and digital triggers.
They just need to pick a design and more or less stick with it like Sony and MS.
Im positive if 3d World had online, it would've been a much bigger deal. 4 player online mario would be a huge win.
I still remember when it came out morons were arguing that you can't have accurate platforming online -_- this is why we can't have nice things.
I agree the console is of niche appeal and lacks essential components to the other next gen consoles, and even some of last gen's.
But you can't say it's "a terrible console" and then proclaim to speak "logic and truth". That's contradictory. You're no better than some nintendo fanboys that say it's factually better than everything.
You can't tell people what is and isn't a bad investment to them. For me, a...
Are you kidding? 2013 suuuuucked. There were almost no games the first three quarters aside from MH3U and Game and Wario. Its one of the worst droughts in recent memory. That drought killed sales, which led to the press bashing the system, which led the Wii U to its current position.
@Foxtrot
Well any comparison of 2 consoles verses 1 will probably lean in the former's favor. Anytime one of these articles pops up its usually referring to the Wii U against one of i...
@Dark
Thats pretty much what they're doing, is it not?
I remember seeing textures in brawl only viewable via hacking that hinted at visible damage. Like Link's shield with a crack, meta knight's mask scratched and beaten. That would be a cool thing to revisit in smash 5. Lil Mac already accumulates bruises and bandages as he takes damage in 4.
The way they handled the Wii U, i really don't think they saw this coming. Their initial sales predictions were also way more on pace with the Wii than the GC.
The BC has nothing to do with the power. It costs them nothing to manufacture the wii's guts, they are dirt cheap in this day and age. The gamepad's manufacture price and the streaming tech needed to power it is what took a toll on the power.
As long as they are using PowerPC, they'd be stupid not to include BC with the Wii.
@mikeslemonade
Thats easy. Not a lot of people played Bayo 2, whereas Dragon Age was on 4 platforms. The awards were user voted, and so Bayonetta 2 had a slim chance from the beginning.
Meh, Japan has never been big supporters of Platinum. They have a cult following there just like they do everywhere else.
