it's a voluntary service. you don't like it, don't pay for it. a lot of people do like it.
you know...you pay for cable television. you still get tons of commercials. do you complain to comcast or time warner about that?
xbox live isn't a forced service. it's not taxes. it's entirely up to you whether you utilize the service or not.

I have been reading a lot of stuff saying that this is just a cash-grab, pay-to-win game that is full of bugs and and poorly constructed.
This isn't my opinion, I haven't played it. It's just what i read. It has been on my radar for a couple months...but i won't be spending a penny til we see some real vids/reviews.
Halo 4 is the reason why i'm probably going to have to hold off an AC3 and Hitman til next year.

having actually watched this episode after seeing this article, i have to say, i agree with pachter. Gamers act like they are entitled to something even though they aren't the creative minds behind the creation of the franchises they love. gamers need to grow up.

Halo Reach has more content packed into that disc than just about any game i've played on console. Not sure how you can say it seems like they lost motivation.
