I begged for this remaster, man. As one of my all-time faves I would gladly pay FULL price if the enhancements were worth it. If your favorite movies of all time were remastered in HD would you complain?

Maybe "confusing" wasn't a good word for it. Listen to the deliveries that Ethan, Jayden, kid Scott Shelby each deliver alongside the accents of many NPCs. Considering it's supposed to be America, it is just a little strange that you hear SO many French accents, even from the FBI.
Not saying I would change this however, it adds to the Noir feel.

I figured they would use the high quality loading screen models, but it looks like they may have retextured them even more despite the fact that they were next-gen worthy models already. Along with the undoubtable resolution increase, I hope they enhance lighting, alpha effects and other textures.

FFXII was past the golden age of RPGs even if it was as good as. More like FF VI-X. I'd steer you in the direction of RPGs from 95-03.

Honestly, Chris's campaign was pretty bad, but the boss fights were pretty epic if you don't resent action RE. On hardest mode, Chris's final boss is a REAL bi***. No hand holding like the others.
Honestly, I think 5 is the worst in the series. 6's mercenaries mode was pretty good, and at least they tried with Leon's campaign. They even gave me the old foolaroo with how they built Chris' ending (his reckless attitude the entire game).

Uh, I don't know when you think JRPGs were incepted, but the VAST majority had protagonists with literally zero personality because they only spoke in player-driven choices. The 'snark' started becoming mainstream circa roughly the early 2000s when Japan's core gaming bubble broke and Japanese companies pandered to the teen demographic.
Xbox One doesn't hit the minimum specs for Oculus Rift, so unless they have a beefy external processing unit to pair with it, it's not feasible. This time Microsoft really can't just flip a switch.
Hololens has potential, but sadly not much in the realms of AR gaming, since there's no target group of gamers willing to dole out well over a kilo for it.

Much of your opening statement has merit, but you ignore that there are different controllers for differing games, and none of the headsets (least of all, the ergonomic psvr) are too heavy for sustained use.

They also seem to fit a pattern of: 1 series = 3 games + a racing finale. It's highly doubtful, but it would be cool to have a multiplayer mode in Uncharted 4 where you have two-man-squads race and shoot their way through a winding level using the jeep mechanics.
BS. New Vegas was great, but it was an unfinished mess like KOTOR II. Considering your problem with Broken Steel, it seems pretty hypocritical of you to ignore the fact that the story was fragmented into 3 DLCs due to "time constraints". They reused countless assets from Fallout 3 that they didn't initially intend to.
I'm currently replaying it and I love it, but please, it's no better than 3.

Say what you want about Rockstar, but they are devoted to being a developer that works hard on their games and takes pride in their creations.
They give a lot through free updates that they really don't have to, and focused on moving save files through different platforms to keep the fan base happy. Maybe people take things like that for granted, but it cost a lot of money.
No dev is perfect, but Rockstar is in the top ten best, easily.
