I can't imagine what this generation is going to bring. I remember saying that there was no way MGSIV was going to be surpassed. I was totally wrong! But I wish the biggest improvement this generation is about AI and technical aspects more that graphics.

The moment Xbox Live has FREE apps such as Netflix, Skype, etc and FREE to play games behind a Paywall, for me, it loses all its value whatsoever. Why would anyone pay to access an app (such as Netflix) and then pay for a subscription of that app?.. I don't care if you are a millionaire, but paying for free services or twice (in case of Netflix, and F2P) just because Microsoft say so? That's really messed up.
They need to make a normal game. They make great stories, but as a gamer you want to play the game. When I was playing Heavy Rain, it reminded me of those CDi interactive movies. Naughty Dog has proved that you can have a great story AND a great game.
I liked the demo, but I think the entire demo (maybe the entire game) could have been played with conventional controls, instead of that "special" setup and QTE. For instance, in the motorcycle part, if you let go of the control, the motorcycle, while still went to the site and "crashed" it still corrected the course by itself, so there was no need at all to "play" it.
I know Quantic Dreams focus a lot in the storytelling, but I am sure they can...

The app will be incredibly useful for iOS and android users, but what about people that don't have them? However, it's sad that the PS Vita app will most likely be a butchered version of the iOS and android counterpart.
PS Vita UI needs a makeover to look more like the PS4 UI (or even the same) so that they become as compatible as possible. Just like how android and ios are the same OS for every device.
Publishers want money. Just look at what they all have said about the Wii U. They don't want to support it until it sells better, which you get in a loop, since you need games to sell a system, but they don't want to make games until it sells, so it's an infinite loop right there until someone actually risks something.

I don't like this guy. Every article that I have read about him, he says something that comes as arrogant. Sony has been investing a lot since 2009 to regain fans' trust, and they have become more down-to-earth, and this guy wants to ruin that.
I might be wrong though, but that's how he seems to be.
The game has a lot of details. The music is dynamic, the stages are semi-breakable, the characters have very detailed clothing, the combos are outstandingly fine-tuned, the way the characters react to the hits is realistic. I mean, there is a lot of detail in the game.
Watch the videos from this guy. He has gameplay breakdowns with developers explaining every single little thing about the game. He also talks about design, music, has interviews, etc.

You can pay for individual characters if you only want a few. The entire game (season 1) will be $20, which is a great value. By third season, you will have the same content as say, Mortal Kombat, and still have only paid as much as a new game ($60). So it's not like you pay more for less. You pay the same, but over time.
For those players that only want one or two characters, they get the worse value, but I don't think they will care since they are only purchasing a...

Resistance is dead, and should stay dead. Sony's studios are doing better thing that Resistance. Just look at the Order.
Killzone was designed that way. Not every game has to be COD. They actually ruined Killzone 3 by catering to the non players.
It's not cheaper. Right now every character will be $5 each. If you purchase the eight characters so far announced (6 at release, two later) you will have spent $40. While you can buy the 8 characters as a pack, for $20.
Either way, it will be better to wait until there are more characters, or even a "complete" package, just like they do with GOY Editions.

Too bad is selling as a F2P game. I will have to wait until season 2 or season 3 (if there is one) to actually buy the game, so I can feel I buy a complete game. By then, maybe there is a retail release with every character so far, and maybe by then they have included stage fatalities, story mode, etc.
Since multiplayer has become extremely popular this generation, I think that developers and publisher should focus more on MP-only games, like Titanfall. It would be much better to have new IPs focused on MP, and leave single player games alone, instead of shoehorning MP in every game just for the sake of it.
