I have never played this kinds of games, but since it's Zelda I will at least try it.
The only problem I see with this (for me), is that the moment Nintendo announces the new Zelda, this will be like Zelda Warriors who?
What do you mean?
I actually like Dualshockers. IMO, it's one of the better sites recently. They never sleep or something, because they write like 1000 of articles a day. Most of the information I get is from them, and they do it pretty well. They also have a great layout in the articles. I would only redesign the main page, but overall, I thing they are great.
At least much better than IGN, Kotaku, Gamespot, etc.
Why don't Nintendo just release the gamecube controller rebranded as Wii U. Everyone loves the controller, and they wouldn't have any problem selling it would they?
It's funny how after more than 7 years, we still get vague information like "important phase". What does that even mean?
I can't believe Square Enix just can't get this game done! They prioritize so many things instead of focusing on one thing at a time to have shorter development times. By the time Final Fantasy XV either the expectation will be so high that it's going to fail, or people will just be uninterested.
I just can't...
Hopefully this time they actually implement the ideas. Last time the ratio of ideas that they actually did was very very low.
The only thing Nintendo has to do is to make the next Zelda at least like the tech demo when they unveiled the Wii U. Everybody liked it and it looked epic. Now, if they can surpass it... it could be the best Zelda ever!
This is the first time since the PS3 launched that I am not excited at all about Sony's E3. I just hope that there will be great announcements.
I agree. The sole reason those PS3/360 comparisons exist is because "how can the 360 version look better if the PS3 is more powerful?"
There has always been comparisons, between NES/Sega, PS2/Xbox, but never had I seen comparisons to a pixel level. Where if a game is one pixel more than the other, it becomes the definite version.
At least in the NES era, there were significant differences due to REAL limitations of the hardware, or even biased fro...
It's not that hardcore gamers want Nintendo to quit doing "kids'" games, but more like they want Nintendo to have more variety.
The have Metroid which if done right, could be a AAA game at the level of Bioshock, Uncharted, etc
Zelda which could be also be a game like Uncharted, Assasin's Creed, etc. It doesn't have to be Mature, but if doing it TEEN rating, it could improve so much more. But they are afraid of changing the formula. ...
WTF?!!!! I don't even... What?! What's going on in those two advertisements?
Complaining about race in a game where the characters are a dinosaur, monkey, turtle, etc? What the hell?
3. lightsabers that actually cut off limbs
It would be awesome! However that would make it a Mature game, and not sure if EA would like that :(
There's no denying at all that it was sales that forced them to removed Kinect, but it took a change of Xbox managers to actually take the decision.
Look at Iwata for example, he prefers to go round and round instead of hitting the problems head on (maybe because he doesn't want to lose his job).
Phil Spencer had the right mind to actually take the decision. Even if the sales were miserable, another person could have deal with it and be stubborn about...
SONY
Don't spend too much time on indies (because we want AAA games, indies on PS Blog)
Don't spend too much time on VR (because it's very early)
Don't spend too much time on PS Now (because the details can be given on PS Blog)
Don't announce games before E3, only to re-announce them at E3
MICROSOFT
Don't announce games before E3 (like Halo 5)
Don't spend too much time on Kinect (it's dead)
If it doesn't overtake the PS4 by the end of this year, it will become very difficult later.
The Order looks much better already. Just imagine how Uncharted PS4 will look with the talent at Naught Dog.
I'm excited for Nintendo mostly because of Zelda. I've had every Nintendo console to play the franchise (except Gameboy Advance), and I can't wait to see how it's going to be. (Hopefully it doesn't disappoint).
I am also excited for other franchises that hopefully get announced. There was a rumor for Star Fox and Metroid, which I love (except Other M). I want to see more of Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei.
There's also X, Yarn Yoshi, ...
I'm the most excited for Nintendo's E3.
My level of excitement:
Nintendo > Microsoft > Sony
Although not necessarily they will end in that order when E3 is over. It could be anyone's win this year.
morganfell you hit the nail in the head!
All these huge announcement happened just THIS month a few weeks before E3.
Sony one time made a few announcements before E3, making everyone anticipate E3 even more, just to be disappointed because Sony only renounced everything at the conference.
I think it was 2 o 3 years ago.
Maybe Microsoft is announcing E3 as their strategy to hook up people to E3. Not because they have even more things to announce.
However, though,...
